Does Amanda Nunes have what it takes to beat Tate?

To be honest I haven’t really paid attention to her fights. Does she have a decent shot here?
 
I think so, she has excellent stand up that can and will give Meisha some problems.

If anything is suspect, I would be concerned about Nunes Cardio conditioning if it goes past 3 rounds.
 
Amanda is a beast and I could see her dominating meisha early, but tate is durable and once nunes gases I see Tate taking the fight over in the championship rounds
 
You should post pics of their booties so we can make a fair assessment.

She needs to hit Tate hard and early, and not allow her to recover.

She has to knock her out. that's the only way i see it. If it goes the distance Tate dominates in experience and pacing herself better. Amanda goes balls to the wall then gasses and this is 5 rounds so she better not be dumb. I'd like to see the world's reaction if tate gets Ko'd.
 
Show up conditioned, that's it. I think she is better than Tate everywhere but the cardio department.
 
I just watched Nunes's fight with Zingano again. I think she got lucky with the first takedown and was unable to close the deal. Then she gassed early and starting in Round 2 was totally outclassed. I think Tate will string things along for the first two rounds and then start shooting for takedowns in Round 3 and finish her off. I would bet on Tate unless someone gave me very very heavy odds.
I think Zingano should really have been the one to get this title shot.
 
her striking is really good so yeah, not familiar with her ground game but I have a feeling she is at least purple belt in bjj which imo is enough to defend yourself properly and not get beaten on the ground.

I only care about seeing Mieshas ass in this fight because Amanda isnt nice to look at. In fact, beyond seeing Miesha, I dont care for this matchup whatsoever, but I sure as shit want Miesha to win cuz I dont want to see an ugly face in the spotlight.

i agree but Miesha is a pretty cool chick too, she is a total package
 
Nunes can finish any of these BWs in the 1st round. Shes like the WBW Vitor with her finishing early but she also has Vitor syndrome in fading when the goin gets tough and quitting/folding. Miesha is one of the toughest girls ever in MMA, she wont be easy to finish early. Amanda can do it with how mediocre Miesha striking is, but if she doesnt shes gonna get whooped and fold like usual.
 
In Nunes last fight, she gassed in the 3rd round and in my opinion lost that round. Her standup is good and dangerous, but not any more than Holly. To win, she will have to KO/TKO her early or pace herself really well and damage Tate throughout the fight.

Tate wins by decision or RNC. Her cardio and durability is too much for Nunes. If Tate respects Nunes standup and plays defensively like in the Holly fight, she will win.
 
She will be strong in the first two (i guess). Then, she will start to fade out... Miesha will probably capitalize on that.
 
She possesses skills needed to beat Tate, but she doesn't seem to have a heart. Faded in every fight that's gone past the first round.
 
Zingano was able to destroy Tate on the feet, the 1st round of that fight might be hell for tate, if she manage to survive tho, Nunes low gas tank will make her lose
