Current as in the streak hasn't been broken, and the fighter has fought within the last two years. I consider a draw a break of a win streak, but a no-contest not (though that fight does not add to the streak.)

Here's a little list I try to update once in a while. I can't find anyone with a 13 fight win streak at MW other than Adesanya.

Also, because someone always says this in threads like this, no. Number of wins doesn't mean anything.

well... he only fought twice in the UFC

I dont know if winning on some random local mma promotion should matter really

You are comparing apples to oranges like this. Different fighters fought in different promotions and were met with different skill levels of opposition... they are not all equal

Pfft I can go to my local retirement home tomorrow and in 2 hours I'll have a longer win streak than anyone in the UFC plus a statewide APB on my ass.

Prepare to cross him off the list.

Why do you have cheater next to Jones but not ortega? You agenda setting inferior

He doesn't have a 13 fight streak at MW, one of his fights was a catchweight.

Well, if your list is accurate, then yeah. It means fuck-all though. His most high profile win is a lightweight with discipline issues.

im not comparing shit. i asked a simple question. i made no comment about quality of wins, or ufc vs. non ufc.

in fact, if you could read, i made a statement right at the very end of the op essentially stating that the number of wins is not an indicator of fighting ability, because tired people like you make this same exact statement in any thread about win streaks, and it's boring and pointless.

i maintain this list over a long period of time. at one time, i list (cheater) next to cheaters, at another, i was using asterisks. thats why there is an asterisk by ortegas name. for your viewing pleasure, i will also put cheater by ortegas name.

yeah for the sake of simplicity, i usually still count out of weight class fights as part of the streak. it takes too much work to check every fights weigh in (especially for non-major orgs), and also i think there is still merit in winning a fight at a different weight class, just like i would think losing a fight in a different weight class would also break a streak.

If that's true then the answer is GSP

Do you know what's more boring and pointless? Making a thread on fighter's winning streak knowing it doesn't mean anything lol

Yeah... thats why the person right after me did the exact same thing.... hahahaha what a joke.

You talk about pointless, and then say to have made a "statement" on your own post pointing out the same thing i did. lmao So basically you made a thread, recognized yourself in the opening post it was pointless and then got mad when someone pointed it out?

Damn... i know some people here are retarded but somehow, sometimes, the level of stupidity still amazes me.

I guess thats why this discussion doesnt even have 10+ replies on a forum where threads like "conor farted" get at least 3 pages.

Lemme check.... my post and the one from louis, many likes. Yours... 0

Congratulations, great thread. Continue to keep track of your nonsense stat, you are doing great.

I liked the thread and the information. I know most of those names but I just now learned of a few new ones. Thanks TS

He's only 2-0 in the UFC but I guess so if you talk about his overall MMA career.

You can see that a lot of those Russian and Dagestani guys have pretty padded records, minus maybe Minakov and Khabib

Definitely has the best fashion sense

Isn’t Da Silva at WW, not MW?
