Does a belt automatically give you PPW points? How does that work?

No way to prove that it does. Most champions have serious negotiation power though, I would imagine

I doubt it, not sure which idiot on the forum said it a few days ago.

Also

Chael Sonnen never got any ppv points too, despite him talking like he did.

Zuffa are not giving it out $$$$ unless you are Brock/GSP/Conor

to add to this i am sure you have to re sign and do a new contract now that your champ.. to lock in all the things the UFC dont want their champs doing ..in those talks i sure there a min add for PPV %
no proof tho
 
Well if you are mighty mouse, do you really want PPV points? I think PPV points are based on contract re negotiation because Tate said she doesn't have ppv points yet.
 
I thought u were going to ask if a belt gives bragging right over ppl that have beaten u, a more interesting question

Chael definitely did get PPV points.
 
No but we have seen where fighters take a fight on short notice for a main event they can renegotiate their deal ie Diaz/Conor and Medes/Conor. However those purses don't carry to the next fight as Mendes made 82,000 to show vs Edgar and 500k vs Conor.
