Do you tip hotel housekeepers?

Yes, $5 for one night if it's just me and $10 or more if they're helpful or my family is with me.

Sometimes I leave tips on what they forgot to clean and how they can be better at cleaning.
That’s why they leave the notepad and pen correct?

No.
I cant recall the last time I tipped.

@Slobodan always tips the housekeeping
Its because as a child he was working with his mom who was working in housekeeping.
Later it turned out she was not really his mom, but thats another story.

Why did you have to remind me :(

It depends. If I eat in the room then I tip. It really depends if I leave garbage etc etc.

If they actually washed those cum stained sheets and comforters, they would probably get more tips...

I keep my hotel room clean and tidy so I always put the do not disturb sign.

But at the end of my stay, I’ll still give $5-$10 to housekeeper. It seems like a hard job and they’re always nice.

what say you Sherbros, do you give tip to housekeepers?

I never have, didn't know it was a thing. I dont tip janitors either

I knew a lot of housekeepers when I lived in Vegas and they said an overwhelming majority of hotel guests don't tip. The nightmare stories they have told me about what they have seen and had to clean up is horrible.

As for me, I only tip if I'm going to stay more than one night.
I leave 5 or 10 bucks the first night of a stay with a note asking for extra coffee and water and snacks. They always give it too. And I leave 5 or so every night of my stay. I've even received notes from the housekeeper thanking me for the tip.

No. I try to behave myself so they have to clean up as little as possible, so I don't feel bad about not tipping.

Nope.

No. But I don't make a massive mess and usually leave the run pretty clean with all the towels in a pile in the tub and stuff like that.

The real question is do u sickos use hotel towels after the shower
