Do you think we'll ever see this in the future?

Yes but it will be a world filled with only Asians after they takeover and kill the rest of us. Those futuristic movies are wrong to portray black and white people as being in the future. Whites don't reproduce enough and mix too much, and Subsahran africa is screwed if the west stops feeding them. Doubt the future Chinese overlords will be so nice to all of us.

A lot of major breakthroughs would have to happen to allow such a future like man made gravity, interplanetary space travel and pretty much access to planets mining to build massive ships. Is it out of the question not really people like to say no but a lot of things like AI,. quantum computing and super-intelligence could provide the spark to make such breakthroughs such as alcubirre drive for far faster then light travel, gravity generators to make space ships have gravity without centrifugal force designs. Could happen given the pace of change just look what the last 50 years have brought up the next 100 should be pretty dramatic.
