I don't think it's like that in my state, but we'll see. I'm hiring a lawyer to get me 50%. I've talked to other people that say the judge will agree to 50/50. Plus she works 4 nights a week. That would be ridiculous for the babies to be sent to daycare when I'm able to have them. Plus she won't have any help from anyone else. Her family lives far away. I have my mom whose literally always able to help. Also I'll have my own house & she won't. She'll have to live with her boyfriend. She's renting her own house now, but I know she can barely afford it. I do have things stacked in my favor

I've literally looked at hundreds of divorce files. I've seen several husbands get full physical custody as well as 50/50 split. In general, 50/50 split is frowned upon in my state as it's not very practical and doesn't provide a stable environment. Keep in mind though, most custody battles go forth after the child is a bit older.

2-insulting her did not help you in this situation, it didnt accomplish anything and will make it harder to get her to agree to a paternity test.

3-i wouldve pretended to be super supportive and start by saying that "I want to be involved in the pregnancy, birth and childhood of my children", that way i could go to doctors appointments and then make the paternity test nonthreatening

because either
a-its not your kid, and you can find out right away and put this behind you
b- it is your kid, and you can find out now, that way there isnt this battle and tension in the air

Keep your communication in writing and make sure everything from your side is logical, doesn't attack her, is reasonable, etc. Even if she flies off the handle via email or txt, just stay calm and be mellow like you said. I have been very supportive for the last six months. I've been to every one of the doctors apppointments. I've also offered to help her pay bills & buy her groceries. Way more than I should do.

We were actually getting along really good & spending time together for a brief period, but she told me she could no longer be around me because it's unfair to her boyfriend. That's when things went downhill.

I never said you were wrong, but I'm certainly gonna fight for 50/50 custody regardless of what anyone says. The truth about her will come out in court & she'll seem very immature. Also I've heard the courts always want whats best for the kids & I believe that's me being the primary parent.
