Machida made Kalib Starnes look good. Even Starnes didn't trip himself running away.

95% of the fight was useless dead space.

idk what fight you were watching but for some football player with only 2 years of pro mma experience, he was cutting the cage off pretty damn well considering he was fighting fucking lyoto machida of all people.

As quite a few of these close, uneventful fights go, one guy didn't do much but the other did even less.

In this case, Machida was a bit more active and landed more, so I thought the decision was correct.

Long time Machida fan, I thought it was a close fight but that Anders might have taken it by being the aggressor. Yes, Machida outlanded Anders but when the output is so little and the damage insignificant, you have to go with the guy pushing the pace. I can see why some/a small majority thinks that Machida won though. Terrible fight and for me this was the final nail in the coffin, Machida is far away from his prime.
