Do you think Khabib is bothered by being forgotten?

In all of these interviews and press conferences you see young fighters mentioning Conor and GSP, or even veteran killers like Aldo for changing the game and inspiring them. Nobody ever mentions Khabib.

This seems to be bothering him as seen by him calling himself the best fighter for the last 10 years or whatever the quote was and taking jabs at OGs still fighting like Aldo.

You have the OG type guys (guys like wand, Royce, Rampage, etc), the GOATs (Fedor, GSP, Jones) and the game changers (Conor, Rhonda types) and then khabib falls in this weird no mans land where he is basically forgotten already and quickly having his legacy surpassed by the Yans, Izzy, Usman type still fighting.

He seems irritated. Meanwhile you never hear Fedor say anything about his legacy, truly no fucks given and true alpha behavior
Nobody is ever going to forgot khabib wtf

I do sense something going on, but I'm not sure. I think he talks a lot now cause he's promoting his promotion and just gets asked questions, which is cool. But he did get out too early and his UFC accomplishments are not impossible to catch up to. It's possible he's beginning to get worried about it. Cause it was his life's work.

Wait until Gaethje gets humiliated. Then his legacy is basically in the toilet. The Sven Ottke of MMA.

I love this comparison. The Mundine win was a great day for mankind, much like Khabib's over Conor.

I don't think he cares at all, he seems focused on his promotion and on being a coach for his guys. If anything everyone else is the one that constantly asks him if he's going to return to fighting.

I also think its silly to think that no one recognizes Khabib's impact. From the Dagestani handcuff to the prominence of the Dagestani fighters, everyone looks at those things as part of Khabib's impact on the sport.

If anything he did what Conor claimed he was going to do. Remember "we're not here to take part, we're here to take over"? Well, the Irish fighters never really took off much less take over but the Caucus fighters sure did.
Why do people keep saying "Caucus" though?

Lmao bruh whaaaaat?

“all things considered”? Foh!

Things like never losing a fight, never losing more than 1 round in any fight, never being knocked down, never getting cut, finishing 3 consecutive top 7 P4P fighters?

This was a troll thread from jump. Then you went and did whatever you did in it. Smh.

In a few years no one will talk about him as one of the greatest of all time, people just have short memories and he was one of the more impressive fighters in recent time.

Usman has a much better legacy all things considered

i think he enjoyed his 15 minutes of fame

i think he misses being the celebrity and all that goes with it.

but at the same time doesn't miss being in the spotlight all the time.

What Usman has accomplished shits all over anything Khabib has done legacy wise.

Lol Khabib is litteraly the Ali and Tyson of our generation for a shit ton of people

Those are some pretty fucking retarded people if they put his name in a sentence alongside Ali or Tyson.

I don't think anyone in MMA can be put beside Ali yet, but you could easily put Khabib's name next to Tyson and favourably.

I love Iron Mike but his best win is a Cruiserweight Leon Spinks and he arguably folded against all of the top competition he faced. Khabib is the LW GOAT and defeated several top P4P fighters in the sport.

You're high.

Khabib fought 13 times. 16 warmups against cans. The highest can ratio of any premier fighter at this level. Over 50% cans on career of less than 30 fights. His career is a literal question mark. Dominant, but resume is garbage.

It doesn't though

Khabib defeated

Conor P4P top 10 when Khabib beat him coming off the Alvarez win
Gaethje P4P top 10 when Khabib beat him coming off ending Fergusons streak
Poirier P4P top 10 when Khabib beat him coming off Max win
Prime RDA in the middle of a ten fight winning streak
Barboza on a 3 fight winning streak and Knockout of Dariush

Tell me again who the top 5 fighters Usman beat are, without counting his loss.

If he's forgotten, why are you starting threads about him?

Tell me who Tyson beat that weren't cans, fighters in a different weight class or over the hill?

he's the owner of Eagle FC, he'll get a different type of spotlight.

OP says Khabib is forgotten but I'm willing to bet he's an emotional Conor fan who has devoted his life to hating him since 2018 because of what he did to his boy <6>Pathetic

Khabib beat wins are two former featherweights and a guy who got his head dribbled by Eddie Alvarez

Not to mention one of the best coaches in the game with over 30 million IG followers.

Khabib is in more MMA news than Conor at this point.

One of his fighters is winning every weekend, interviews about his promotion, he's the most discussed non active fighter on the roster.
