I'm currently going through similar thing with a buddy of mine. One of my gf's best friends and a buddy of mine broke up about a year ago and the bf moved into our place as she didn't have an immediate other place to move into. She ended up living with us for most of the last year and got her own new place right before Xmas. Now, one night this past summer we had a 3 some with this girl. The fucked up thing now is my buddy and now, our ex roommate, are back together and the girl proceeds to tell my buddy what happened this past summer! Like... why? So now every time we hang out, and we do almost every other weekend since they started dating again a couple of months ago, its super weird between us. And like I get it, but why the fuck did she have to tell him????

Wow, why she would say that is beyond me. I can't imagine too many girls are eager to broadcast that they've had a threesome. If a girlfriend told me that, there could easily be the belief that if she'd do that with someone else, why wouldn't she want to do that with me? All of a sudden, there becomes expectations. If it were with two dudes, then that's information that I really wouldn't want to know...

Anyways, yeah, my friend pretty much stopped being friends with me after that. We didn't hang out after that, which sucked because we were really close. He was one of my two best friends in college. I was a little pissed at him because I felt like he had no right to be mad and throw away four years of friendship. He didn't tell anyone that he had a crush on this girl, so I didn't know that I was crossing any lines. As I've gotten older, I can totally see why he wouldn't want to hang out with his girlfriend and the guy that had also banged his girlfriend. It's just weird. He started hanging out with her group of friends pretty much exclusively, largely in part to the fact that my other best friend took my side in the matter. He got an invitation to the wedding, which was how I found out about it before I saw it on facebook. Whatever, it's not the first friendship on the planet that has been severed because of a woman. It won't be the last.
