Do you think GoT producers realized Maisie Williams would be so unattractive?

Did they want that? She's the warrior/tom boy. I don't think they were going for that at all.
 
Is her character supposed to be attractive? I haven't read the books but always thought of her as a tomboy. Certainly acts like one and hasn't been put in any storylines where you would expect her to be attractive or feminine.
 
She’s super annoying. Agree TSer, hard on the eyes. Would rather Ser Brienne.
 
I’m sure they’re incredibly perturbed that the person they cast to play an androgynous 12 year old still looks like an androgynous 12 year old.

As long as you're thin and don't have a deformed face you're usually at least average. I wouldn't give her a second look if i saw her out on the streets, but she isn't Rosie O'Donnel.

Not that she's a good actress.
She is just much better than Sansa or Dani.
lol no way has she reached Euron levels of cringe. That guy has been one note from the second he came on screen. He never comes across as a real person

Arya has had some legit excellent moments with The Hound and Tywin, and even Joffrey. She is a capable actress. They just fucked up her storyline

Also, Bran grew up way more awkwardly than Arya.
 
Agree supposed to be ugly in the books and Sansa is the good looking one.

Kinda worked out that way in the show.
 
There are some seriously Manichean people in these boards.

Not being gorgeous doesn't automatically make you ugly.

I’d say more like a 3.8. Either way, we agree she ain’t hot. I think the TS is reacting because tonight’s episode suddenly tried to sex her up. Shit was awkward.

You really think so? I think she's actually a pretty decent actress. I've always thought Jon and Dany were the weakest of the main cast in terms of acting. And Euron is less bad acting than it is bad writing. I don't think there is an actor in the world that could make his lines non-cringe.

Except I don't find her unattractive. She's certainly no supermodel, but she's plenty pretty. She was never supposed to be hot like Daenarys Targaryen or Margery Tyrell.
