Do you think DC will ever come back to LHW?

If not then Gus, Volkan, and maybe Latifi (if he beats Glover) will probably be the main guys in the running for LHW champion so the Dark Sorcerer will be highly relevant again!

If he beats Stipe, no. If he loses to Stipe, yes. I think he's probably only got 1 or 2 left after Stipe regardless.

I think he'd only come back for Jones but with Jones likely being suspended for a long time, I doubt it. Once DC is able to eat well again, he aint gonna wanna do what it takes at 40-something to get back down there.

If he beats Stipe, he's gonna defend the belt. And considering his age, I guess he would simply retire once he loses it.

If he loses vs Stipe, it depends on how he loses. If he's getting outclassed, he might say "I'm not a hw" and then drop down to lhw. If he loses a close fight, it's reasonable to think that he's gonna have another fight at hw in order to get a second chance for a title shot at hw.

Nah his lhw days are behind him. The cut is going to be too much after going back up to hw. If he loses I think he might angle for the brock fight or some sort of other payday/fun fight

First congrats to @BigMuffler on the new Steel belt, as for DC coming back to LHW I just don't see it unless Jon Jones comes back I don't see much motivation from DC to defend a division he's getting up there in years and I think he sees life much easier behind the commentators desk or in a coaches corner. The division is open for a new King in my eyez...

Stipe might be his last fight. If he loses, why would he go back to LH? If he wins, he might fight Jones again, but Jones might not be available. In that case, he might defend at HW once, at most, then retire.

yeah it's gonna depend on how the fight plays out. But if he loses no matter how, the cut back down could be very difficult after putting on weight at his age. He could even retire even if he does beat Stipe. We'll just wait til after the fight to know. Too many possibilities right now.

No, he's a natural HW, and always was - he went to LHW because Cain forced him to. DC was assured to have no place in HW because of Gym Politics. I am unsure why Cain welcomed DC to HW now, but when he was champ (and even when he wasn't), he didn't want him there.

I think he'd do it for the Jones trilogy but that's the only way I see him ever fighting at LHW again. I honestly think he'll probably only fight one more time after the Stipe fight. If he loses badly against Stipe I wouldn't be surprised at all to see him hang up the gloves after that one.
