Do you think Conor will knock out Oliveira?

Assuming he gets the rumored title shot. On paper it's a great fight for Conor. But there are question marks relating his new, mechanical leg.

So do you see Conor handling Oliveira? Or Oliveira sub him when he gasses?

The only Oliveira Conor can knock out these days is Alex "Cowboy" Oliveira, and even then it's far from a sure thing

This site will talk about how Charles doesn't stand a chance on the striking for weeks, until the fight happens and Charles drops Conor with a left hook and finishes with a choke when Conor gives up his back looking for a way out.

Oliveira has a penchant for getting hit so I can’t exactly rule that out but for the past several years Conor has given little reason to believe he can hang at the top of the division anymore. Also factor in that the grappling gap is immense and Oliveira should be the comfortable favorite should they ever meet.

No.
Especially not now when Oliveira is in his absolute prime and Conor is on the decline for the last few years.

Maybe when both men were at featherweight sure, that was probably the best version of Conor IMO and the the worst version of Oliveira. Conor could probably score a TKO in the first or second round back then(2014/2015).

I don’t even think Conor can hit as hard as Poirier or Chandler to drop Oliveira, so I can’t even say confidently if he wins the striking battle. He has a decent shot, far from a punchers chance but the most likely outcome is Charles by SUB within 3.

I don't even know if that fight could be sanctioned given one of them is the undisputed LW champion of the world and the other has only won one fight at LW.

That fight would be nice for Oliveira's bank account but is the UFC willing to let Connor go out there and be a punching bag for one last PPV? I don't think so.

Connor probably could not handle Bobby Green or Jim Miller at this point in his career let alone Charles Oliveira.

No. Charles is better everywhere at this point. And it doesn't look like Conor is ever making 155 again anyway.
No lol his stand up leaves him open as hell. Never seen a fighter hold their chin so high while striking. You tuck your chin or you get lit up.

I can't see Oliveira holding that belt for much longer. He got saved by the bell against Chandler. Who himself seems to have a pretty suspect chin, vulnerable to flash knockouts. If he fights Gaethje he's getting knocked out within 2 rounds. Conor stands a pretty good chance as long as he can keep it standing and finishes him within 2 rounds, otherwise he's gonna get subbed.

I don't think he stands any chance at all because he's not going be fighting in LW anymore.
