Do you think Conor Mcgregor is overrated or underrated these days?

It’s hard to know what to expect from him at this point. He had hardly been fighting, now he’s been out forever with the broken leg and looks like he’s been training for bodybuilding instead of mma and is going up a weight class… seems like he’s just going to be slow and have even worse cardio than ever. Seems like his days as a serious fighter are over and he’s just going to be getting by off name recognition
 
Overrated. He was a top fighter at FW, where he dwarfed most opponents by an enormous margin. At LW he is 1-3, and 2-1 at WW against LWs, including Cerrone.

Still, beating Poirier, Holloway, Mendes, Aldo, Cerrone, Diaz and Alvarez is impressive.

Unranked = Unrated.
 
Probably both. Haters underrate him, nuthugger overrate him. He hasn't fought in a long time so saying anything about his level of skill is pretty useless, let's wait and see if he can beat Chandler or not. If he loses it is for sure time to retire.
 
Serious question: has anyone coming back from a leg break ever been underrated in MMA history?

Been gone too long to even rate fairly at this point, was never a big fan of his but Conor is all about dollars he'll come back for 1 or 2 big fights money grabs then he'll go all Keysar Soze. If you get the Keysar Soze reference give yourself a like for being an OG...

incredibly overrated

he has turned into the type of midget instagram bodybuilder that he used to tease his opponents for being.

i don't believe he ever returns to fight at all, let alone this 'fighting 3-4 times per year and returning to my prime' type of nonsense he is spewing just for clout.

self-serving opportunists like chandler are foaming at the mouth to fight mcg under any circumstance/condition but he is getting trolled hard imo.
 
Underrated as a fighter and overrated as a competitor.
 
It’s crazy to me how much hype a guy gets who hasn’t won a meaningful fight going on 7 years, so yes he is overrated.
