The ffl dealers then sell to people. The ffl dealers are responsible to di the required federal and state checks.

If a ffl dealer knowingly makes an illegal sale the should get 10 to 20 years. If you straw purchase you should get 10 to 15 years. If you are a felon caught with a gun you should get 15 to 25 to life.
