And do you still like mma?

Pretty sure we all came here because were fight fans.

Honestly mayberry has become my favorite part of this forum. Its like a little community, and i feel like we all know each other. After nearly a decade, i just cant even be bothered with the trash posters that fill the main atttaction of Sherdog forums.

I still view it to get mma news, but its just annoying kids i feel like. Extremely disrespectful and insane amounts of trolling.

Basically. I love you guys fuck the ufc forum

I've been swamped in work lately, so I haven't been able to watch as much MMA as years passed. (And tbh, the last couple UFC cards have been kinda meh) I'm still waiting till I have the time to watch the last events, then I'll probably be back over there on a more regular basis.

But Mayberry has been a nice place to hang out in. Good people, funny threads. It's good to see what kinda things the Sherdog community is into besides MMA.

Same but admittedly my interest in combat sports has faded.

Not so much anymore. I think once it got the point where the first two pages of threads were all Conor, Ronda, Floyd, Perry, Sage and PVZ, I got a little worn out.

It actually made me look back fondly on Pride vs UFC and Fedor Sucks threads.

I still watch plenty of MMA after about 15 years of being a huge fan. Occasionally post in the heavies. I don't expect much from the interactions though. More of a lurker in that forum.

Yeah, I still love MMA. I don't watch any sports, so this is my shit. I still watch every UFC, Rizin, most Bellators, and a smattering of all the other orgs.

And yeah, I still wade into the Heavies. It's a shitshow, sure, but so is the entire internet, to some degree. It's like anything, you gotta feel around the bruised fruit, but you will find some good peaches in there. That was the case a zillion years ago when I first came here, and it's still the case now. There are a lot of disrespectful jerkoffs, but if you ignore them & try, you can still find / have some good conversations about MMA.

I do like that the mods have gradually become more lenient over the years. But the fighter hating and bashing turns me off from wanting to post there.

Bunch of fat idiots trashing sucessful people.

I still do, but it gets pretty tiresome seeing the same threads everyday. The Berry is probably my favorite forum but the turnover in content is a little slow so I venture back to the Heavies quite often.

Still love MMA, just don't watch every single card anymore. Too watered down and too many cards.

Dude what ever happened To GSP on a bike?

Or whatever his name is.

Possibly my favorite moment on sherdog was when rebock made those terrible stick figure shirts that said "bjj, wrestling, boxing"

This dude shopped two stick figures having buttsex titled "ufc"

Lmfao what a character

Rarely, because the amount of meaningful discussion is very miniscule compared to most every other sub.

That's not saying much, though.

Been a while since I've caught a PPV.

I, too, miss the Pride Vs UFC days.

Good question. Fell off the damn map.

Whenever a sherdogger disappears, I think to myself 'gee, whatever happened to so-and-so, I hope they're not dead'

I'll post an ass gif in a pbp thread every now and then.

Example:
UGsrtTD.gif

I never posted much there outside of the Joanna J Superstar threads. I'll occasionally browse to see if there's anything interesting, but that's about it.

Yeah. Mma has been pretty stale. I blame the ufc for buying all the other orgs

You should bring the same charm mayberry

Just watch out for @Kardashians

It will likely be upset

Yeah I still do. I love MMA even if I can't get up for all the events nowadays. My friends don't know shit for the most part which makes the stupidity of the heavies almost tolerable.

a guy once tried to convince me that Gray Maynard beat Nate Diaz....on TUF

wait, what

i retired the HW forum keyboard after that

I only recently(within the last year) started posting here, but its quickly becoming my main reason to come to sherdog. Ill keep posting in the heavies because Ill love MMA until I die, but the berry is the GOAT

Yeah, I do every once in a while. I still catch all the events. I think I've missed maybe a dozen events the last 10 years.

By the way, why is it nicknamed "The Heavies"?
