For all you guys that are married, looking back now with hindsight would you not get married if you can turn it back?

Just wondering...

Maybe the first time. But I have my kids from that one.

I divorced my first wife, she seemed to regret something. Very happy with wife number 2 and I don't think I get here without the experienced of my first marriage... So no regrets

Why do it again...

Been with the old lady since 1993, with only a brief two year hiatus. She’s my favorite person in life, and we’re having better sex in our 50’s than we did in our 20’s. Life is fucking good……literally.

If I didn't have kids I'd of moved on by now. It's not that there is anything wrong, but 10+ years is a long time.
I'm an asshole for saying this as my pregnant wife just made and served me breakfast......

28 years married.

I could not imagine going through life with no one to share it with. Growing old lonely and alone.

I think Eva Longoria has it right.

I don't regret getting married at all. I have 2 wonderful kids because of it, and I had exclusive rights to some prime poontang for a long time. And if I'm honest, her ridiculous spending forced me to level up my game at work so I could get promoted and make more money, so some good did come out of her bad habit.

However, it's possible that we end up divorcing in the future, and I won't regret that either.

I don't regret it but marriage itself means nothing to me, just a legal document, barely even that

Choosing to be with someone and getting married aren't always the same thing

I made it clear that my wife had to eliminate debt and pay off her credit cards. I offered I'd do it for her but then I would have access to all her spending habits from now on. She thanked me and fixed it herself. I recently told her she'd be broke and have nothing to show for it if it weren't for me and she agreed. About to have our 2nd kid and she's in line with cooking more and maintaining a good life at home. Fuck Instagram lifestyles. After the kids are grown I might just go live in a shack in the woods the rest of my life, but I'm on a mission for the next 20 years now

This is pretty spot on. The entire length of my marriage I have never worn a wedding ring outside of my wedding day. Never felt the need to. She’s never asked me to. We know we are together. Although…she does love her wedding ring set, lol.
