My son is school friends with this boy. He asked if Austin could come over to play and I told him no. I know him and his fathers side of the family. I went to Mike's viewing and his fathers private viewing and funeral (his father died from a drug overdose less then a month later). I totally believe he ment to do it. I don't believe he ment to kill him but I do believe he ment to shoot him. I asked his father "what did Austin say about it?". His dad said "Not to much really he hasn't been that clear. He won't give any kind of details to anyone. I don't know."
Never once did I see this boy shed a tear or act even the least bit sorry or sad. At the viewing they put a hat on Mike to cover up his head wound. Austin said he wanted to take it off so he could see the hole and stick his finger in it. At the viewing his mother (who had to get special permission to temporarily get out of jail) got totally fucked up drunk and her father (Austin's grandfather who he lived with) made a huge scene yelling about it to the point some people left.
At his fathers funeral Austin wore shorts and a t shirt with a grim reaper on it and a hat turned sideways. At the graveyard his grandfather (his mothers dad) got a phone call HE FUCKING ANSWERED IT and had a short talk! He didn't turn it off real quick or silence it. After he hung up it rang again HE FUCKING ANSWERED IT AGAIN! During the entire tragic event never did he show even the smallest bit of sadness or regret. At his brothers funeral or his dads.
I don't really want to pick and choose who my kids can be friends with but I will try to influence their decisions on other children but they will never be friends with this little mother fucker if I can help it.
