Do you(mousasi fans) still believe that mousasi is the best mw?

after watching Whittaker beating Romero,and mousasi having trouble with shlmenko(tbf mousasi only got 1 eye in that fight).do you still believe that mousasi is the best mw?

Mousasi is a solid top 10 but he loses to Romero, Jacare, Rockhold, and Whittaker

I think he would beat Whittaker, but could probably struggle with Romero. I think he could be champ.

Bellators/UFCs top guys are much more even than some kids think. We saw guys like Bendo, Mousasi, Rory having just as tough fights in Bellator. Also the other way around, where someone like Eddie became UFC champ.
The same happened in Strikeforce.

Mousassi's in a weird position, where I think he beats all MW's except Jacare. He improved his wrestling and general TDD but he would still get taken down.

I disagree with the Yoel fight though I think he whoops him. Yoel will get a TD, but he's never really controlled people on the ground effectively.
He gets the TD usually but allows guys to get up. Moussasi would merk him on the feet.

He matches well with Whittaker and bad with Romero. Top 5 MW is a shark tank, too bad Bisping and GSP stalled the division for so long

Mousasi is one of the most technically sound guys to ever grace MMA. Pride rules suited him better because of the 10 minute first round, yellow cards and kicks to the ground. Some fighters would be better under those rules and he is one of them.
He is definitely capable of (still) being within the top 5, absolutely but maybe doesn't care enough now.

anyone who thought he was "the best" shouldn't anymore.

but anyone who thinks "he sucks and was never any good" needs their head examined.

Mousasi seems to bring both kinds out.

i'm sure there's a solid 5% who agree with me that he's one of the best in a very stacked division, and am still frustrated that there were so few top 6 v top 6 MW bouts in the last 3 years.

but granting Bisping stupid defenses chased him away, so all we're left with is "OMFG he's the best" / "OMFG like no he sucks" so called discussions.

I never thought he was number 1, but I do think Moose is one of those guys who is either severely underrated or slightly overrated. He rarely gets an honest assessment because his haters are either discrediting resume (hur dur Jardine draw) or his fans are defending their guy from the cesspool that is online ambiguity.

The truth is Moose has the skills to be champion on an given night, against anyone in the top 5; however, based on skill set and attributes, I still think Whittaker is the man at 185. Whittaker is a great wrestler, clean and explosive striker, athletic, and composed. Whittaker explosion is what really stands out out when matched up against Moose. I highly doubt Moose gives Rob fits on the feet, and if he takes him down, he's not holding him down.

That said MW is kind of like LHW and BW where the top 3 are all championship caliber. Whittaker, Romero, and Mousasi are the kings of that division.

Moose could beat all top MW's, his worst matchup is Jacare.

He didn't really beat any top MW's during his UFC run. His best win is over broken Weidman coming off getting merked by Yoel and Luke. He also beat broken Vitor and broken Hendo.

I think he's top 5 and it would be great to have him in the UFC, but I don't think he beats Whittaker, Yoel, or Jacare.
