Do you miss watching Mighty Mouse fight in the UFC?

Only missing him until his next fight. Lets be honest too. DJ's fights in ONE have been way more exiting than what the UFC would have done with him. The guy is finally getting the backing and the marketing he deserves. If anyone won that whole trade fiasco it was him.

I didn't appreciate him enough when in the UFC and wanted to see him lose. Now things have changed.

Demetrious Johnson (aka DJ or Mighty Mouse) has been fighting in ONE Championship the past few years. His last fight in the UFC was against Henry Cejudo on August 4, 2018, where he lost by split decision. Shortly after he was traded for Ben Askren.

Definitely one of the most skilled fighters ever, with the most consecutive title defenses at 11. I feel that if he was in the bigger weight classes, he would have been a pretty huge star. Not many seem to care about the flyweight classes

Have you been keeping up with Mighty Mouse's fights in One Championship? Do you miss watching his fights in the UFC?

Yes. I miss watching him in the UFC although his One fights have been great too. Could mods maybe add a poll to this? I'd love to see the numbers.

Of course. He's the goat. Would've loved to see him injected into the flyweight situation right now. Or eventually taking that dillashaw fight. I didn't like the way they tried to force it on him but yeah it would've been great. The cejudo trilogy would've been great too. UFC lost a little bit of legitimacy when he left in my opinion. He is an asset to one.

There's like an empty space in my heart when it comes to the Flyweight division in the UFC over the last 5 years since Mighty Mouse was traded to One FC, Horiguchi left for better pay elsewhere and Cejudo left the division. I've felt like this whole Moreno, Pantoja, Figueiredo circle jerk has been kind of a sham. If Horiguchi, Mighty Mouse and Cejudo stayed in the UFC at 125lbs this entire time I don't think any of these guys would have held titles let alone fought for them fifty seven times.

I missed Mighty Mouse the entire time he was gone, now he's old though...36 at Flyweight is ancient and even he's saying this Andrade trilogy might be his last bout. I missed Mighty Mouse, I don't actively miss him because we wouldn't get that same guy back now.

If the UFC didn't do him dirty he could have further showed us his greatness.
Also I think he won the second Cejudo fight too. Could have made so many title defenses if the stars aligned, dammit.

Absolutely miss DJ. For me, he's tied with GSP for the most skilled MMA fighter I've ever seen. Such a fucking waste too, getting Ben Askren in return.
