I think this should have been a one and done film yet its a franchise with the 3rd coming out this year and another 2 or 3 on the way.
I could see 1 or 2 movies max but 5 or 6? Thats way too much.

Is anyone here actually interested in these movies?

Didn't finish watching the first one. Haven't bothered since. Mostly indifferent to them.

I enjoyed the first one in theaters, but not enough to see the next one.

They are gorgeous movies, but there isn't enough to them for my limited attention span to sit through 3 and half hours +

Not interested. Dances With Wolves in space. First one was good from a popcorn standpoint but didn't do anything for me. Good spectacle. Second and third I'm not interested in. I'm sure they're good popcorn but meh. Good money to fund Cameron's science stuff I suppose.

They are kind of dumb and it is a tragedy that a director of James Cameron's caliber has been doing this nonsense for 20 years and probably will keep doing it until he retires.

Seeing the first one in cinema at Imax on what at the time was that new kind of 3D was pretty incredible technically. The story was pretty forgettable but the spectacle was great.

I went to see the second in the cinema again but I don't have much interest in a third.

The first one was pretty magical at the time it came out in theaters. Most expensive movie ever made at the time and probably had the best visual effects ever (at the time). 15 years later it's still a really good movie but nothing like it was then

Should've been one and done, it wrapped up nicely. Saw #2 and while it had some of that magic felt like a money grab. Can't believe they are making 3 more..

Can't get aroused looking at flatchested alien woman with very narrow tube top, so no.

Great to watch in Imax 3d but other than that quite forgetable. Will watch them in Imax but no interest in rewatching at home even on a 98 inch.
Still the best version of the Pocahontas myth

Yeah without that 3D I'm not interested.
