Do you know this Court McGee's story? Incredible story of life

Fear not! The P4P greatest damn poster on this damn site is here! GUERNICA!

Yes I heard this weeks Helwani podcast and I didn't actually know any of that. I actually never really liked Court but for the first time, I'll be rooting for him. Great story. I wish him well.

couldnt care any less about a lifestory of some junkie. the majority of people are not useless junkies, but when one junkie decided to join normal people - oh behold, a hero, what a story.

I bet you are fun at parties.....

I think that prudes don't really understand that being an adict is often times a symptom of bigger issues. So overcoming that on top of the underlying issue is very uplifting and inspirational. I can respect people who have actually been through struggles in their lives, and have overcame them, more than some high and mighty person who hasn't....

Just sayin!

You sound like you're about 80 years old.
Some people are a lot more prone to addiction than others, even genetics comes into it.
And beating addiction is one of the hardest things a human can do. So someone who does overcome it certainly deserves praise.

And lots say yes. America is about as close as it gets to being a drug culture and has been for the past 20 years or so, or longer if you want to count alcohol which we should. I have known very few people who haven't expermented with drug(s)s at some point in their lives ..and the ones that I do know that didn't are old as fuck. Some people can experiment like MOST people do and walk away with no detriment to themselves or others around them. While some people can't because they are simply wired differently

and some people are :eek::eek::eek:philes. should we celebrate those who fucked kids and then "found their way"?

you are talking as if addiction is something that happens easily. one pill/snort/shot and you are addicted. no, junkies had many many occasions to put the syringe down before they became junkies.

you have come to this conclusion somehow that I am against all drugs in all manners? just because I cant stand junkies doesnt mean I am against recreational drug use. and when I said that many people say no, I meant that junkies had a long way down into the addiction, because it doesnt happen overnight.

and fuck this "wired differently" excuse.:eek::eek::eek:philes are wired differently too. is that any excuse to what they do?

Ooo im jorny, a swedish type of horny

I'm not sure how you've arrived at comparing addiction to :eek::eek::eek::eek:philia to be quite honest

Most :eek::eek::eek::eek:philes don't offend but for those that do there isn't really any way back once that line is crossed.
Which is completely different to addiction, as addiction is not illegal and the only person you harm really is yourself.
I suppose you could say they are both mental/psychological things.

Most people can drink alcohol, take pills, do cocaine, even take heroin and not become addicted.
But some people can't.
Personally, I always steered clear of drugs, have never taken drugs in my life. But I had some major alcohol issues which nearly proved fatal on a couple of occasions.
The reason I never got into drugs because I knew, for sure, that if I did I'd definitely be dead by now because there is no way I could just be a once a month cocaine user, just as I couldn't just be a social drinker.
