Sorry to hear, that's a high number of people to know who committed suicide, even with it being a leading cause of death.
 
One of my best friends and MMA training partner did. In his early 20's he developed a pretty big drug problem and started collecting debts to fuel his habit. He had a sherdog acct back in the early 2000's and was who introduced me to the site.

I will try to give a good description of the type of guy he was because he was a very interesting character. 6'4 210. He is the toughest guy I have ever seen in my life. imagine a guy who is UFC calibre fighter who legit trained his skills to apply to the street. He was super OCD and it was 1 of the reasons he was so great at combat sports because he would train 3-4 times a day and anytime he had a spare second. Before he got into the drug game he would actually dress like a nerd or someone who would be vulnerable and walk around the hood at night looking for someone to fuck with him for real life experience. He wasnt cocky, didnt act like a badass and caught so many people off guard.

Anyways he ended up putting a beatdown on a guy and ended up dying from a brain bleed a few days later. He ended up getting charged with manslaughter. Did 11 years.
 
This guy we used to party with. Didn't know him too well but he was real chill, laid back, just liked to puff and have some laughs. Nothing hardcore. One night he busted in on a party his ex was at and shot her and her new boyfriend to death. He planned to kill everybody there but lost motivation after he shot the first two. Life in prison.

This kid that went to my high school. Same grade but he was in the special classes. One night he broke into this handicapped guy's house and robbed him. Tied the guy up and he ended up dying. Not sure if that was intentional or not.
 
I used to when I was a kid. Lost contact with the guy years ago and found out recently he turned out to be a serial killer. Crazy world we live in.
 
Anyone who was in 'true' ground combat in the U.S. Army or Marines during Afghanistan and Iraq most likely did some killing and than watched their buddies commit suicide when they got home. I believe the number for veterans committing suicide per day is now at 24.

A guy that was a couple years ahead of me in school turned into a meth head and killed his dealer and another guy that was at the house, currently doing life I believe.

Another person I went to school with, another fucked up junkie, but this time with a host of mental issues on top of that, went off his rocker and killed two people, attempted to kill a couple more, and robbed and assaulted a couple more, then kidnapped somebody. He got multiple life sentences.

A guy my dad worked with that I met a few times turned out to be a serial killer. He definitely killed 2 people and is the main suspect in 2 more murders, and apparently alluded to there being several bodies that will never be found.

Man I used to feel sorry for people like that who die from overdose but if I think about it the onus is on them and no one. I feel for someone who may have gone through some real traumatic shit and uses it to cope with life but for others who do it for fun I say fuck em.

Every time I look into the mirror I see the fucker who killed the man I could have become.
 
I guess you could say I have. Guy walked in front of my train , laid down and I cut his head off. Felt the train kick up as the wheel cut through his neck.

Had another jumper but he survived.

Had one of my friends rant on FB about how crap his life had become , I messaged him about it straight away but he had already left after posting that and killed himself.


Probably others that I'll remember later.
 
My friends grandmother killed a cop with an axe

Life in prison and she held the keys there until her death
 
I've only known people who have died. There are 1 person I've known from the states, Brooklyn, NY in the house TS. She was a cop and she used to go to school with my sister and I used to go to school with her little sister. Her name was Sonia Garcia and was killed by her fiance. Feel bad for her little sister.




I've also lost a cousin from Honduras though and I've known about 4 people from honduras who were killed

You guys get psychological treatment after jumpers?
 
Yeah. A bunch of people I know from the Army. My Brother in Law was Special Forces back in the 80's and he lit some shit up. My other Brother in Law was in Desert Storm as a helicopter gunner during the invasion. I also know somebody that is serving life for murder. He's dead now, but one of my Dad's buddies used to run with the Hells Angels and he killed people.

Yes. One of my sister’s friends was driving and a young boy ran out in front of his car and he hit and killed him. They found no wrongdoing on his part. But if fucked him up pretty bad.

A guy I used to skate with, who had gang ties, went up to another state. He was involved in some kind of armed robbery and shot and killed a security guard. I’m pretty sure he is still serving time. Maybe not though. This was like 20 years ago.
 
Yes. I happen to know a guy who is a contract killer. I would rather not know that, but I do.
 
I am living near jail so I met a dude who killed his wife and her lover with a kitchen knife 30cm long. He is finishing his 40 years of sentence. He killed them and called a police. Didnt hired a lawyer, or nothing.
Pretty chill dude didnt caused any problems during his jail time. He showed me the paper from court where all his defence was "I was busting my ass on work from 9 to 5, for a very comfortable life. They stole my life so I stole theirs"

Years ago a friend presented me this little brazilian guy who wanted kickboxing lesson
Done like 2 lessons then got bored and quitted, but aside being cocky af he was a friendly guy and paid both lessons in advance

Some months after that the common friend told me the guy was disappeared and police was searching him for suspect murder because his roommate was found dead and he left/escaped
None of us ever seen him again or know what happened next

Indirectly a crazy one
One middle-school professor (of math iirc) of many friends (who described him as a total wierdo) snapped and killed his wife with a "trinciapolli" then gone around the street naked
