Do you have Goose gangs in your neighborhood?

Where I used to live the river would flood a lot. When it did, the swans would take over the streets,

Saw a rooster gang earlier today and one dumb rooster tried to J-walk in front of me car.

Where I used to live the Canadian geese were everywhere and messy, pooping all over the place.

There's a small man-made lake near my place, I often walk up there after work for some fresh air, it's absolutely full to the brim with geese and swans who are protected so have no fear of people and just walk around you. The geese are quite aggro sometimes.

I’ve lived 2 different places that had gaggles of geese. I once witnessed a guy plow through a flock of like 50 that were crossing at a red light. Killed about a dozen of them. At first I was like fuck yeah, then I got sad.

Oh, yeah. I love when people are in a hurry and I see them raging at the wheel while the geese waddle across the road.

I once kicked a goose to death. True story. I was at the beach with my daughter, off-season, and there was a pretty large gaggle and one charged us so I punted that motherfucker with my comp toes on and he (or maybe she, I didn't check actually) just landed and that was the end of that.

Did you eat it afterwards?

No, but we got a ton of wild turkeys.

They are less aggressive, and much slower.

Someone tell those geese they can fly.
FWIW, they actually can't fly during the summer because they shed their feathers on their wings and can't fly until they grow back later in the year. There are notices about it at a local lake where I walk. I saw one who got stranded on the other side of the fence around the water and was struggling to get back to the flock because it couldn't fly over.
