GSP came back after 4 years. Straight into a TS. But, GSP and Jones are completely different. GSP doesn’t come with all the bullshit baggage that Jones carries around.

Plus, if he does get the 4 years, or more that he deserves. Dana may not be the president. If for some reason there’s a new president, and the guy is actually not a lying, douchebag. Jones might have to prove himself first.

Not that I particularly want to stick up for dana but money fights have little to with dana's personality/character. Whoever is the president will be expected to help make and promote money fights. Said president will be expected to justify the sporting legitimacy of the money fights regardless of how irrational that position may be.

Jone's image as well as his risk of fucking up the ppv will be factors. Factors that will be weighed against how much more money they can expect to make with Jones as opposed to some other challenger.

Who knows what the division will look like when Jones is eligible to come back assuming he can keep from fucking up while suspended. Who knows how big his star power will be. Too many unknowns.
