I f@cking hate the feeling of being bloated. It’s uncomfortable and you get a pot belly. I’m by no means fat but I get bloated every time I eat. I exercise regularly as well. Maybe it’s gluten or carbs or I could be allergic to something I’m eating. Anyway, I decided to detox and cleanse my digestive system by going on a five day water fast. I need to reset my gut so to speak. I’m on day five now and I feel great. The bloating is all gone and I don’t feel heavy anymore, not to mention I also lost 11 pounds in five days. I’m thinking of going on a keto diet and intermittent fasting where I eat one meal a day.

If I were you I'd go to the doctor. You could have any number of stomach issues. Eating all your food at once isn't likely to help the bloating.

Yes. I try to avoid sugar as much as I can.

This was happening to me because I was eating too much fiber and not enough salt. My blood pressure was too low.

What is your diet like? Sounds like carbs causing inflammation. Beer will also keep you in a constant state of bloat. Keto/low carb would probably address the issue.

You have colon cancer....make arrangements and say your goodbyes

I get that as well. My main problem is when I mix fat and carbs together and if its processed fat/carb then its even worse. Other than that, I get bloated with spicy/greasy meats as well as starches like breads, rice, potatoes and legumes.

For me, raw food helps, like fruits, vegetables and non starchy stuff. Little bit of dairy is ok as long as its not full of fat/carbs. So basically raw food with maybe some other foods like yogurt, dark chocolate or other foods that are easy to digest.

5 day water fast? That doesn't sound healthy, but I'd imagine it would clean you out.

More likely you have an intolerance rather than an allergy . Allergic reactions can be life threatening.

Yeah, that is a problem I can have. I'm thinking garlic and onions are the main bloat culprits for me.

5 day water fast.... does that mean you consume nothing but water or you consume no water?

Did you die?

I’ve noticed getting bloated when drinking soda and sometimes eating fast food. I imagine it’s the processed foods

I get bloated as fuck after every meal. It's really annoying and I have no idea what causes it. It seems to happen anytime I eat anything other than air and water.

No because I’m ripped as fuck. But I her reverse bulimia works...that’s when you stick you finger in your ass to get rid of dinner.

Lately, yea.

Maybe I'm not getting enough fiber, who knows.

I eat multiple small meals per day during the work week. I don't want to feel too full at work and I'm pretty active after work. I'll eat out about once a week or have a big meal once a week, and I feel miserable afterwards.

Well, most people's stomach do distend when filled up with food... how bad is this bloating and how long does it take to disappear? I notice that my stomach bloats a bit and feels disturbed when I eat a lot of youghurt or oats with milk and sugar, so I've switched to oatmeal (oats and water boiled together) for breakfast.

If I were you, I'd look for something in my regular diet that your stomach might be intolerant off and switch that element out. No reason to go making huge changes if that's enough to solve your problem.

How do you know if you're Gluten intolerant? Is there a test or something. I need to know.
