It seems there are more than ever so many UFC HW fighters who come in way too out of shape and can barely last 1 round and afterwards are completely gassed out.

Yea, majority of HW needs peds to last more than one round. (or inhalers).

5 minute rounds is a bad format for guys who eat like sumo wrestlers and generally don't worry about cutting weight before a fight.

The ideal format for HW's might be 5 rounds for 3 min each round for non title fights. Main Events or Title fights can remain the same

There are too many HW's that are out of shape in general and not only cardio. It's disappointing

There is a tough balance with having to carry 250 pounds of lean mass and be able to maintain explosive output and cardio along with eating enough to actually maintain that lean mass while you train.

Yes, if you are a good enough wrestler around 240ish like Cain or DC or Stipe, you can survive. But if not you are going to need to sacrifice wind to survive.

If you had to fight in a division with the Black Beast and Ngannou, you are not focused on how aesthetically pleasing your fights are to Sherdoggers.

I can barely last 2 minutes in bed with my wife. So I'm not going to talk too much shit about a professional athlete only being able to last 5 minutes.

And by my wife, I mean your mom.

Agree that 245ish is the ideal weight. Tybura was 255 and he looked soft. Hardy was shredded at 266 but obviously gassed bad. Its not easy to find guys who naturally carry 240-250 and are athletic.

people laugh at Tim Sylvia, but at 265lbs and 6'8 i never seen him gas as badly as that dwarf Deron Winn and that other guy he beat by being less gassed.

There are a lot of HW's that are just LHWs too lazy to cut weight. When you don't need to cut you're a lot less likely to do cardio. The reality is most have the power to finish the fight early but if they don't they're screwed.

Or offer to throw in a fried turkey w all the sides when they win.

TS, you may have the worst signature on sherdog.

I can only come the that conclusion because I am able to ignore about 99% of the rest.

Yours looks like another thread.
