It's like those fights can be scraped and no one would care. All people care about is a WWE wrestler. They don't care for actual fighters.

I do care of those fights, casuals only care about Lesnar, i just confirmed that on my FB news feed, 2 people shared Lesnar stuff since saturday, no one shared anything regarding UFC 199 fights, Bisping getting the belt was HUGE, yet, social media are more interested in Lesnar, Conor, Ariel FFS.

Hell yes I care. I'm expecting both Aldo vs Edgar and Jones vs Cormier to be great fights. The main reason I care about Brock's fight is Hunt.

No disrespect towards Lesnar, but this is a cynical money grab. Zuffa is just using him to get ppv numbers far over the top. Good business, but still a poor look from an org that is poor at building stars, other than handpicked ones. Anyone with a brain knows that. I don't care one bit about his fight.

That's kind of why the UFC and their fanbase is a joke. They promote guys who talk rather then fight, and they care more about WWE guys then their own guys. It's pathetic. It's the fight game, yet they don't even care about the fighters with skill.
Ariel Fucking Helwani is being talked about more then Jones or Aldo is. Name one sport where they care more about a reporter/journalist more then the top players?

I'm not big on WWE but I was pretty big Brock fan back in the day so I'm excited to see him back but Jones is the GOAT and Cormier is his toughest test that's worth watching and Aldo will be fighting my guy Frankie so I'm interested in that too.

Never watched nor cared for the WWE. First time he was the UFC I always hoped someone would just brutally beat his ass and his fanbase would fall back with the constant nuthugging. This isnt 2008 anymore

Thing is, these people i have seen on my FB page, they are not UFC/MMA fans, not a little, they are absolute casuals of the sport.
In other sports there are always some journalist/analyst that gets famous, but in the MMA crowd seems that every news takes over the old one, and then the next one, Ariel got too much attention, but in Soccer it happens too, Mexican soccer team coach got into a beef with an analyst, when they finally met at an airport and made an scene, it was all over the news for days, it happens.
