looks in SOCCER Messi makes more money than almost everyone, because of his talent no matter what he speaks.

in a serious sport it doesn't matter if you have charisma, you earn money based on your talent.

I consider it sports entertainment because there is no ranking based matchmaking as there are no mandatory title defenses. The one who sells can jump the line. There is no minimum salary, no union or PA. What you get depends on how well you can entertain. There is no structure of a sport.

There are no weight classes in soccer. Following that model, all UFC fights would be open weight. Yan wouldn't be good enough and would be cut.

¿UFC? ¿You mean human cockfighting?
If MMA is not a serious sport because of the money issue, wrestling might not be an sport then, because they get penauts, and no long ago they got just penaut's barks.

This is a good take. While I feel that the competition nature of MMA is certainly sport, MMA as a whole is not on par with other professional sports where the stars command that sort of pay mentioned by OP. MMA is sport, by definition, but not sport by modern pro sports standards.

OP also makes an error when showing the pay of the top earners in sports. Those are star players on a team. Those teams are paying for that player's services because there is organizational belief that this individual player will be able to deliver a championship team/squad. MMA is an individual-based sport. If we wanted to compare apples to apples, the training camps would be the ones paying to attract the fighter, not the fighter paying the training camp/team. In soccer or football or whatever team sport, it is the team organization that pays the fighter, not the sanctioning body organization.

It's much more of a sport than fucking lame ass soccer. American football is for men, international football is for little pansies.

Not a sport. It's sheer violence. Modern day gladiators.
