Do you buy someone as humble when they tell you they are humble?

Conor claims he is humble in victory or defeat but had to say he was humble during the post fight interview with Joe Rogan. Just seems really hollow to me. If you are humble you won't need to say it, we could see it for ourselves.

So after a couple days have gone by you can see Conor making all these "if" statements which amount to nothing but talk. If you are humble and gonna take the loss as such you don't need to tell us how humble you are nor make what amounts to excuses and if statements.

I just said this:

All he said was "I loss because I faced the bigger man".."I wasn't efficient with me energy" I was hitting him and his shots were flying pass me...

On the shot that wobbled him: "he hit me with a good shot and I was off balance". WRONG Conor, you got your fucking bell rung in between getting bitch slapped.

Not saying once did he say Nate was just the better man that night. in defeat he was not humble and he was visibly mentally weaker the entire time. Look like a lost puppy.

As a general question yes, someone who claims to be humble can actually be humble, saying it does not remove someone from being it...Now in the case of Cunner, no, his humility is bullshit, we never saw it while he was winning, and do not see it in his loss either...

Generally if a person is humble, they have no reason to say so.

Rumble Johnson comes to mind.

I would say it's genuinely hard to know if they are humble. If they talk about their lost, at least it shows the acknowledgement of defeat.

Ronda Rousey for example, didn't want to acknowledge her loss and she refused to talk about it. I would say that's a good case for not being humble.

yeah, exactly this. The guy has a yuuuuge ego about him. Still the same guy on the inside as he was when he was on top of the world, and that guy is anything but humble.
