...because the fighter advertises them? I have noticed a lot of fighters have sponsors from supplement and sports drink companies. I’m not criticizing fighters for accepting sponsors, but I’m curious if people actually try products simply because a fighter endorses them ? I mean...I like Stipe, but I’m not going to run out and buy a sports drink because he’s doing commercials for them. I’m pretty sure if he wasn’t being paid he wouldn’t use that product. I know back in the day people were more gullible when it comes to advertisements , but in this day and age I would think people are smarter than that and choose products based more on consumer reviews as opposed to celebrity endorsements .

Opinions?

No, I ignore ads and any kind of solicitation...

Yes. I normally buy an 8ball of blow the last Saturday of every month when I have a 4 day weekend. I can only go by my dealers word that it's "Bones approved" though. It's never stepped on so chances are he's telling the truth.

EDIT: Oh my bad, I thought the title said "Fighter SPONSORED Products"

No, I'm not a 13 year old girl. I'm a 40 year old grumpy fuck that doesn't give a shit about anything anyone is doing with their life. Whatever you sellin' I ain't buyin'.

I will never buy anything UFC or UFC fighter sponsored products related again. I got burned on that hot dog brander and i vowed to never buy anything UFC , including PPV's.

Bought a UFC Sponsored 7/11 cup a while back... Won a free day pass to Fight Pass... But no... Plus I wear Nike not Reebok.

So you prefer basketball endorsements ...

I bought some preworkout Rory sponsors, a bunch of Ben Askren clothing, and made sure to buy Dude Wipes for the laughes.

Dude wipes were nothing but wet wipes with a huge price markup. As a fan you have to try them once but not sure how they can convince anyone to buy for a second time.

I got...

A JDS Nike shirt
A Cro-Cop 'Z****** Security' shirt
A Saku Protein/Water/Liquor shirt
A Tim Sylvia roof

Not exactly sponsored shit so I guess that's a no.
