I believe aliens exist in this universe and my belief is what people perceive as ghosts are just some sort of aliens. Specters, flashes of light, weird presence, things like that.

Also for the argument on why aliens would come to Earth, I think it's the same reason I go to museums. It's to experience the past. To know how far we've come. I think it's the reason why people want to see how primitive tribes live. It's why anyone studies the past. No one stays in the past but it's nice to visit.

did you leave or hang around the ghost?

I had an old indian friend who i wanted to visit another Indian's bar to tell me what he felt about the Indian, he liked the guy ok but he said he felt an evil presence there, the bar owner insisted the place was haunted and tried to run him out with various stunts. Long story short, the Indian bar owner was just a common conman and I didn't get along with him in terms as Indian-Indian way of doing business , i told my old Indian friend after I left the job and he said then, he sensed evil, "well why didn't you tell me!"
We stayed a bit nothing crazy happened afterwards and I hadn’t seen anything for years Hugh they changed the name a few times it was the only incident I personally saw myself, ghosts could really be anywhere in known spots if you ask the right ppl ,I knew of guys going into bars with real decapitated heads waving them around like they were Halloween props that bar i believe was one of the stops they made doing it ?

That was well before Giuliani took over , and I hadn’t moved there yet but i know stories of things and I believe when someone dies violently that energy has more of a chance to lurk in between what is a restless spirit and the afterlife/ reincarnation or anything in between that allows that energy to still stagnate.

No, not at all. Doesn’t mean I can’t get a shiver down my spine and turn into a fraidy cat if I’m going down into a creepy basement in the dark or in the woods at night, but no, I do not believe in ghosts.

Yeah. It happened about 5 years ago. I woke up and went to the bathroom and when I came back there she was in the corner of the room. We stared at each other for a few seconds and she started to walk to me and approached her face towards mine like she was trying to kiss me. So I put my hand on her face to push her away and she became aggressive and kept trying to come closer as in trying to posses me.

I had to use all my might to push her back and get some distance and then she disappeared
It's okay to bang older ladies but you didn't have to knock her out the next morning when she just wanted some kisses.

I don't think that holds water because ghosts might be killing their murderers all the time and we wouldn't know it.
Of course it holds water. Think about the various war zones where the people know their relatives got bombed the fuck out of them then themselves dieded via bombed to fuck. Surely one of them hundreds of thousands killed would kill the one responsible for their murder.

There would be countless reasons for ghosts trying to make contact or interact with the living world.

Priests and other holymen would be inundated with people trying to make contact, asking wtf went wrong with their death and why they're stuck in limbo, they'd also get taunted by smug atheists.

You'd have dead scientists trying to provide recordable data for the living. Europe would have millions of nazi ghosts who would presumably be causing all sorts of ruckus across the continent's synagogues.
That's a good point about dead scientists trying to advance human understanding of after dieded.

There are all sorts of theories on what aliens are, spiritual, extraterrestial, interdimensional, coming from inner earth/oceans. So many smart people out there who think they could be here already somehow, an older species than us. How they could escape total exposure is a mystery. Whatever it is, if you're paying real attention, something is out there. UFO's went from being something they interviewed toothless hillbillies about and now pilots and scientists are trying to understand what these things are.

Did you check for ectoplasm? She may have been slimed

wait, are we talking about ghosts of former posters who got banned?

anytime someone revives/bumps an old ass thread, the corpses rise to the surface.

It's creepy IMO.

especially when I'm one of them.
<30> <6> {<hhh]<suzylol><WellThere>
not all of them, I'm not seeing some of the usual posters on the paranormal threads.

Had enough hauntings in my life to know they're real.

PEople disbelieving believe all the fake ghost hunting shows aren't pretending.

I believe in angels and demons but I don’t believe in ghosts as in the ghost of a murdered family haunting their old house.

Of course not, I'm a grown adult. I live in London which has been continuously inhabited for 2000 years, so if they were real they'd be absolutely fucking everywhere, and I'm sure they'd be doing more to make their presence known than turning off light switches and pushing teacups off tables.

Nobody has ever displayed any kind of scientific evidence for them existing. I don't care how convincing your drunk grandma's story was. She was probably hallucinating from exposure to toxic fertilizers in the 1940s.
Also, if they go through walls, why don’t they fall through the Earth?

Ah, well angels and demons - that’s different. Of course they are real. How else do you explain why people behave the way they do, right?

i know you're being sarcastic but I honestly wonder those things myself. I can't make sense out of so much of what people or even what I do sometimes. Particularly the evil that men do, some evil is so antilife and vile and pointless that it just seem the end in itself with no real purpose other than to commit evil.
