Do you agree with Joe Rogan that Brock Lesnar could have been the GOAT?

Who knows. He entered MMA as a rich and famous dude, who could afford best training, steroids and matchups.

Being a poor 20YO thrown to the wolves to barely make a living could've been different.

Brock would be nothing without his roid genetics. He can't handle adversity and the one time he did if it was anyone else the fight would have been stopped. Dude said Frank Mir was the lucky one in their first fight, but really he's one of the luckiest dudes walking around. From his book, he has such a shitty attitude and brittle ego. There's a reason they gave him Hunt for his last fight. He knows deep down he isn't about that life. But the image pays his bills and makes him feel like a real man.

Brock who did not allow guys in his camp to ever punch him, and had a horrible track record of being unable to take punches... would have been a GOAT if only he had gotten gifted title shots even earlier than his laughable 2-1 record allowed for?

Brilliant lol. Remember when PR accounts on here used to argue he was HW GOAT when he reached his apex with an amazing 5-1 record? lol couldn't make that shit up if you tried...

No.

He went in there like a frantic, panicked squirrel and reacted maybe the worst I've ever seen from a professional when getting hit.

In a fantasy world, sure. In real life, no.

Early Committed Brock the most legendary fighter crushing sea level Cain and Motivated BJ

The problem is how much of his steroid use is responsible?
If he didn't have his wwe career to ensure he gets preferential treatment like good stylistic matchups and obviously letting him roid unimpeded.

Athletically speaking, sure he could have been amazing but there were other factors involved.

Rogan..same guy that said Rhonda would cream Floyd..feel sorry for anyone who takes his takes seriously

Basically Joe Rogan is of the belief that if Brock had come into MMA at an early age (early 20s like Jon Jones), learned proper striking and built up learning how to fight in MMA by taking on some low, key fights first before joining the UFC that he could have been the G.O.A.T.

From a physical standpoint, yes!

Just because he starts earlier doesn't mean he would have acclimated to striking. Beyond his "natural" reach and power, he seemed pretty bad at it despite how long he was training. It also doesn't mean he would have reacted better to getting hit... that's a big if. So nobody really knows and Rogan is just peddling nonsense as usual.

I mean imagine if Brock had gone the same route as Bo Nickal.
Dude would easily be 10-0 in the UFC.
Then win the belt do one or two defenses and we all would have him in the GOAT talks.
And thats the Brock that started MMA late.
Imagine a Brock starting training MMA at a legit gym in his early twenties.

Dude was the first guy to not only beat Carwin but to stop him.

Absolutely. He wouldn't even have had to come into the game earlier, all he needed was a stand up game & if he had that in his arsenal he would be unstoppable. With only being elite in one area & him still being so dominant is pretty fckn scary.

He was terrified of getting hit. No.
That would have lessened by being hit earlier in his life, though. Or could have. If he geared towards MMA young, he potentially could have adjusted to the reality of getting hit.
