Hillary Vs trump, how did it get to it. For me I can argue that both suck, one is a hack on Wall Street pockets, the other looks like a narcissistic delusional person. If I had money I would bet on hillary to win, let's just wait for the debates, that will be quite entertaining, but now seriously! This are the 2 best candidates for potus? What a shame.

I disagree. You see this argument every election. The reason for it is because both side spend just as much, if not more, casting their opponents in a disparaging light as they do talking about what their plans are and what they think of issues.

Was watching RNC coverage the other day and one of their talking heads said point blank both candidates are unappealing to the average voter, so it comes down to which one you dislike more. Streamline immigration requirements, making it easier to immigrate legally. One of the biggest reasons people immigrate illegally is the difficulty of going through the process - it takes far longer than it should, and costs a lot of money in the process. Increase the quotas, add more resources to processing, at least temporarily, to deal with what is effectively a 5+ year backlog. Once you make it possible to register correctly, increase pressure by adding "as an illegal immigrant" as an enhancement to certain crimes and stepping up enforcement against employers. Simply making it harder to be in the U.S. as an illegal is insufficient, though - you need to provide a workable alternative.

This, in turn, will free up resources in terms of immigration enforcement, as they no longer need to track nearly as many people. Use those resources to actually track entry/exit in terms of visas, and to effectively enforce existing cases. Sitting on the border mostly catches a handful of re-entries, which are unimportant.

That said, your implicit argument is illogical. Even if I had no solution at all, that wouldn't justify expending resources on an action that solves nothing. You don't get to justify a useless 'solution' by pointing out that there aren't any other solutions offered.

How can you disagree when both major candidates have a negative approval rating? I'm not sure if that's ever happened before.
