do yall believe in the power of belief?

You've pretty much got to believe for it to happen but you better bring something else to the dance. Very few fighters (and athletes in general) had success with negative thoughts. GSP apparently had some demons.

I remember Diego being asked how he was going to beat BJ Penn and all he could come up with repeatedly was "Because I want it more". Could not offer anything more.

Paulie seems like enough of a dumb person/hot head to ignore his skills and get in a pissing match with Artem. We'll see how emotional he is during the fight. If he doesn't fight dumb, he wins easy.

Belief -> Confidence -> Performance

It's important but it's not everything. How many times have we seen a fighter embarrassed in their own backyard? Ala Masvidal vs Till

Depends. Self confidence is needed of course but all that trending “positive thinking” wave is a bunch of delusional bs. External factors and circumstances wont change because of what you think lmao. Id even say its dangerous because you become delusional as fuck.... Lets say that you get fired form your job and get a foreclosure notice. Fuck working on your positive thinking ... you need agility. Get whatever job you need to get and even rent your house out.

Building a cult around something gets a little ridiculous, but belief is a pretty big motivator.

someone who believes they can do something is more likely to do it than someone who believes they can't. A strong belief is a good motivator, whereas lack of belief is a good demotivator.

Common sense, but some people make an effort to put that into practice. Nothing magic about it.

Ronda truly believed she had formidable striking skills.
Yes, your believe will never get you above your phisical capacity. Your belive will get you to your limits and so you MAY be better than your opponent.

However the fans believe do nothing directly, but indirect may the chants rise your believe in you.

Believe will not bring you above your phisical capacity. Yes training and your phisical performance is the most important, but without the believe in you, you will never go to your limits or better the peak of your performance possibilities.
