Quite simply since these sub human living conditions put on people by paying them pennies, and also takes jobs from the west why not put a stop to it.
Western nations could put tariffs and penalties on companies buying and selling merch from these places unless they adapted to certain standards
EDIT: min wage specific to living standards of each county
Could be enforced because their main customers are the developed world. So countries with a good wage scale would benefit from free trade, whereas places that are found with sweat shops etc. are penalized.
