Yup people might laugh but I honestly think think a lifelong impairment to your sexual well being could lead to suicidal thoughts... I mean unless you're an old man when your dick is supposed to stop workingI got a vasectomy a few months ago, and I think you make some valid points. I wasn't fully aware of the risks. I ended up getting an infection on one of the incision sites. After 10 ten days, you're supposed to be pretty much healed up and I could barely walk I was in so much pain--like worse pain than the first day.
I had to go back to the doctor and they pulled out the stitches and gave me anti-biotics. Fortunately it cleared right up after that. I've been totally normal otherwise. But it was scary as all hell realizing I've let somebody cut that area of my body and something had gone wrong. Before the infection cleared up, I had some dark thoughts and extreme anxiety about how this could potentially go really bad.
I really feel for the men who have long-term adverse effects.
