Do people not understand how powerful a Truck really is?

I really think that people show their personality when they drive. All the members of my family that dont let others merge are the ones that never do any favors even to their own parents.I think that if you are a selfish driver you are a selfish person.
Last week I was in a one lane street of 30 miles per hr. In front of me woman in a Grand Cherokee driving at 20. As I try to pass her she gets furious and accelerates going way over 50 as she is clearly yelling in her car. I just let her stay in front. Lol women driving.

It's so awesome when a truck doing 50 tries to pass another truck doing 50 and doesn't accelerate even 1 mph when he switches to the passing lane. "I'll go 50 and pass this guy going 50 because going the same speed as me is too slow."

I had my signal on the whole time, and when a truck is trying to pass and their going about the same speed, its because their trucks are programed that way u dumb fuck, one may only be able to go about 1 mph more then the other, you can blame the law for that.
 
Also have you ever driven with 80,000lbs of weight? its not easy to slow down
 
I respect all trucks and I view on ramps not as you Yield but more like I just cooporate because we are all getting where we need to get in the same amount of time.

I don't fuck with big Semi trucks at all, I don't drive beside them at all, either behind, passing nice and quickly or being in front.

big trucks dont survive up in the mountains...all that power is useless on ice and snow too
 
I don't fuck with big trucks, so many feels for the drivers.

Can't imagine it'd be fun commandeering one of them things.

People understand that a lawyer is more powerful than a truck, so they do their dick moves on them figuring if they get hit it will be a payday.

I don't endorse this logic, and TS I agree w/ you.

i agree. its hard to place blame on situation like these unless you see whats happening.

TS, did you merge with enough speed?
 
I was thinking about this a few days ago, TS. I have never seen an incident where someone in a truck gets pissed and runs a smaller car into the median, or off the road. Most of the time, the people just pull out there guns and shoot each other.

I still try to not piss off any large vehicle drivers, though, just in case.

This whole situation has nothing to do with what you're driving, it has to do with the fact we live in a civilized society, so the majority of people know that you couldn't do shit to them if they weave in and out of you even if you were driving an armed tank with comical TNT barrels attached to it.

So yeah, it has nothing to do with people realizing how powerful your truck is, it's the fact it doesn't matter. Yeah, they're being assholes, but get used to it unless you want to run them off the road and spend your life in jail.

So why do they try to pass? Clogging up lanes and bunching up traffic can be just as dangerous as all the crap people in cars do. And why are you calling people names immediately? Doesn't look like you're the calmest person.

On the whole, I think truck drivers are just as irresponsible as everybody else. They dish out as much as crap as they take.
