Do most folks root for fighters from their region?.. (Name your locale & favorite fighters)

Wondering how much, if at all, one's geographic location plays into the fighters one favors. Do most people tend to root for fighters from their region or is that largely unimportant? For informal survey purposes, name your favorite fighter(s) and your locale.

Nope. Canadian and one of my most hated fighters is GSP. My favorites are the All American Chris Weidman, jose Aldo, Demian Maia, Rda, And my all time favorite was Sonnen. I root for who I root for I guess.

Nah. tribalism is biggest problem in this world and causes all the conflicts/wars. I judge individual merit regardless where they from.
