Do fighters that live abroad get tested less?

As others have said, it's like an open secret that going to Thailand for "training" is just going there for the roids. A remember a handful of fighters mentioning this.

Just checked and Ismagulov who lives somewhere on the border between Russia and Kazakhstan has been tested 5 times this year, so I'm going to guess no.

It doesn't say where. If he only gets tested in the US, it makes it easy to predict tests. That's what I'm trying to find out.

Shit eh? Getting caught with gear over there comes with a horrible prison sentence!

Are there fighter restrictions on their "availability" to test?

Is there anything stopping a fighter from moving his camp to the middle of nowhere where he has no contact with the outside world and therefore avoiding random tests? I imagine there's some contractual stipulations that mandate such things. Someone here knows more than me about that. Thoughts?
I bet there's some fighters that only get tested before fights due to their location. USADA's website used to show test location. Not anymore!

Did some 2 minute google-fu and apparently lots of pharmacies just sell them over the counter. Some have commented that test and HGH can be done just by asking a doctor at a clinic and getting the prescription 100% legal. I imagine some of the harder stuff they crack down on, but I also imagine getting caught is more of a low IQ test since the pharmacies are right out in the open.

Can confirm there are pharmacies in Phuket & Bangkok where all sorts of special supplements are available with few questions asked

Tons of Aussies go on "steroid holidays" to Thailand & Bali

I've been to Phuket and I did notice the pharmacies sold Xanax and Prozac it so what you're saying makes sense.

Nope, you just have to tell USADA where you're going. And now you've stumbled on why athletes love pre-season training trips to the middle of nowhere.

USADA is literally on UFC's payroll.
USADA isn't required to enforce penalties for failed tests.
I vaguely remember Crocop speaking on this

It seems America bound fighters get tested more often than fighters that reside in countries where MMA isn't popular and because of less established infrastructure. True? I'll take someone's word for it!

Maybe but jones gets tested all the time. Comes back positive all the time but still gets to fight.

untrue.
Well, might be true that some American fighters gets tested more, but they are selected "randomly" and once selected the person testing either travels to the location, or a local agency is hired to collect the samples.

One thing to note though: there are many more American Athletes than any other part of the world, so you are bound to see more Americans being tested, but that's just a reflection of Americans being the majority.
