Do Bronx is overrated

Not having heart is not true but I kinda know what your referring too

He does have a reputation of things going good when he's bullying his opponent but then someone successfully bullies him back he crumbles rather quickly

Don't really blame him, not many fighters can win the war of artibution

The guy don't have heart.

He's gonna get mangled like the rest of them.

Y'all kinda forgot who Tony is cause he had a double weight cut and lost one (which he almost won in round 2).

He's coming for blood this time.
He's a 1-d, kind of 2-d fighter. He has great BJJ, pretty good striking. But he has nothing in the transitions between them (wrestling, scrambling, judo, whatever you want to call it). His style is not dynamic; he's good at most distances, but he's not good between distances -- he doesn't blend distances. His skillset is a collection of many individual martial arts rather than mixed martial arts. The classic muay thai + BJJ trap that led to them getting replaced by wrestle boxers. That will prevent him from ever winning at the top level that Tony is at.

7 fight win steak all finishes but he's overrated.

I love this place..

Right. This is a big step up for him though. Lee was doing okay but has a shit gas tank and gave him his neck. For me this is more to see where Tony is tbh. I think if Tony is still the fighter he was he should finish Oliviera.

I actually agree.

Yes, he has improved a lot, I'll give him that, but he also hasn't fought elite fighters during his win-streak.

Also, I firmly believe that once a quitter, always a quitter. If Tony comes in prepared and isn't too broken (mentally and physically), he should honestly win this fight on toughness alone. Da Bronx has no heart when the going gets tough, and it is gonna get tough vs Tony.

I don't think overrated is the proper description, but he's definitely one of those killers that will likely never touch the belt due to his occasional fragility that pops up from time to time.

And yes, Tony is in a very vulnerable position here after the loss, so many people have temporarily written him off. But that's the fight game. It sucks, but it happens every time.

I do see Charles folding once Tony starts hurting him, but if aloe vera can somehow surprise Tony or catch him slipping, he is savvy enough to capitalize and finish.

What a crazy win that would be for do bronx. I just don't see it happening, but who knows.

I think this ends inside the distance either way, so that's where I'm betting. Either Charles folds under the damage, or he catches a miracle sub or strike for the upset.

Ok but if he wins dont be saying he only won because Tony is washed, & that he still isnt any good.

TS hasn't watched any of the more recent Oliveira fights

Yeah unfortunately neither fighter will get credit for this win. This will be Sherdog tommorow

Charles wins: "It took charles fighting someone coming off a loss + 4 years removed from his prime just to finally get a top 5 win"

Tony wins: "Not impressive, Charles folds like a lawnchair everytime he faces an elite fighter. Let's see Tony do that to Connor, Justin, Dustin, or Khabib if he's really that good"

Literally 1 person was ranked on Charles latest streak

Whoever wants it more will win, just like the result of Dustin vs Max

He def. had those fish outta water moments earlier. But he is putting things together much better in this recent run. The Lee performance showed for the first time he is here to fucking win a belt. He fought like he owned the place.

He is great but him vs Tony is totally a mismatch
I dont think so. Watching his fight w Kevin Lee,the guy looked fantastic. He def deserves to be here

He hasn’t fought elite guys on his run and Kevin Lee has zero heart. I think you’re right. If the Tony we used to know turns up Charles will give up
I remember Barboza rocking him with a kick to the head. Lee went on to win that fight. Hell, Raging Al battered Lee and he never quit.

@Juan Bombadil be like

It doesnt matter. You can tell the guy has improved alot if you actually watch the fights instead of looking on wikipedia
