Do Americans/Australians walk with shoes inside?

I have really fluffy Buffalo Bills slippers I was bought and I put on flip flops when I get out of the shower but no, I want to be comfy. My feet are 90% of the time tucked up, it wouldn't be comfy.

In the summer and most of the year i am barefoot inside the home. If it's cold i put on socks.

No I don't, I wear designer brand flip flops most of the time.

No, I have a pair of Adidas slides that I wear inside (and a couple of slippers if I want to change it up).

I am Japanese-American though so I think that is more of a Japanese habit ingrained into me than an American one, as when I go to other people's homes in the US it isn't all that rare to see people wearing shoes indoors especially up north where people have dirty basements that are at best garage-level clean.

In Hawaii we don’t wear footwear inside. I don’t know why you would.

My wife’s from Hawaii, didn’t do it over there and we don’t do it here.

It is gross. I also dont get people who dont wear shoes inside but walk their dogs on dirty streets and dont wash the dogs paws.

I was taught to remove my footwear. I don't get upset if someone doesn't as long as I'm not smelling funk.

I don't have a no shoe rule, but if I'm just chilling in the house I always change into sweats or pjs and take my shoes off.

Home is for relaxing.

I think it's mostly seen on tv's and movies because it's easier to film.
