No, it was more Rian Johnson and other directors and producers having zero direction or understanding of Star Wars and selling George Lucas down the river.

Finn went from the lead actor to the comic clown. And they couldn't even due that right as he had a romantic interest in the 2nd movie but then the Asian girl just disappeared from the 3rd movie.

And then the gross looking ferret Adam Driver all of a sudden becoming the love interest.
Kathleen Kennedy has no clue.

I think it had more to do with the fact that Boyega has the theatrical charisma of a potato.

History will erase this trilogy like the Star Wars Christmas special.

The 3 movies have no consistency or sense. Mark Hamill hated what they did to his Luke Skywalker character and acted under protest. The creator George Lucas hates it. Boyega hates it. And you had Bob Eiger and Kathleen Kennedy pushing their agenda and not respecting the work.

Rian is actually not a bad director but he had to come in to clean up the first movie and his vision was his and not Lucases. Basically the whole trilogy was a mess.

Yeah man. It was a mess and too many people and too much to add or were lazy when they did add. Ended up incoherent and preachy. I loved Star Wars for years. The force awakens felt cheap and basically a fan fic level of quality story wise

Why would I say that to a random black guy ? A statement like that would only come about in a conversation about race.

I'm half black. That statement being said to me from a white guy isn't in and of itself racist. If I was having a discussion about race in America with a white guy, and he said that, it wouldn't be racist.
Racism implies some sort of malintent. All opinions and generalizations based on, or influenced by race are not all automatically racist.
They can be. But it entirely depends on the situation.
