A great RB can avg 5.0 (most don't) a carry, any decent RB at all.....4.0.

No way I use a first round pick on any RB, I can get a good enought RB in the later rounds. Hell there are Hall of Fame RB with a 3.9 average.

As we saw any RB would have worked in that Eagles SB win.

Do not use your first round pick on a RB. QB, left tackle, edge rushers, cornerbacks far more valuable.

I do believe in todays game you must have a mobile QB, those days of standing tall in the pocket left with Tom Brady.
What a fucking idiotic time to downplay RBs after a RB just carried the SB champs

Dude, junior high was a long long time ago, ok slugger, dick breath?,,,,,,,what are you 12.?

Didn't the Giants let him go, why?

Be cool little man, ok?
So you can't answer it?

The Giants let Saquon go because the owner trusted his dipshit of a GM. It has nothing to do with Saquon's actual contribution or contract numbers. Their GM thought exactly like you do, that you can replace greatness with good enough and we found out there is a massive difference within a competent system and competent team building organization. Saquon Barkley proved last year the Giants wasted years on an all time great talent. That all time great talent had one of the best offensive seasons in NFL history and was the primary option on a superbowl winning team. They didn't do that with D'andre Swift, they didn't do that with Miles Sanders, they didn't do it with LeGarrette Blount (although they did win a superbowl), but I'm supposed to believe that Saquon isn't worth a first because some dumbass GM gave him up for nothing?

You mention CEH but you don't mention Josh Jacobs, you'll bring up Najee but not CMC or Leonad Fournette.

The reality is some guys don't hit, that doesn't mean you don't take a chance on them if they can carry that fucking rock to W's. This is the same retarded ass logic that keeps the best teams the best. People don't value OLB or Safety and teams with good rosters get the best players at the position in the draft. That just ties up the "bad positions" routinely and allows them to focus and develop on other positions. Year after year we see left guards and centers get obliterated and teams never learn. Guess what the eagles had in literally all of these "less important" positions?

The Pats won how many Superbowls, who was their stud RB?

Barry Sanders was one of the greatest RB's ever he won.......0/zero.....Superbowls. The great Jim Brown....one,....the great Walter Payton ....one.

The Eagles had the number one D in the league, a great O line, they didn't need a GREAT RB, they coud have won with starting Gainwell.

How many titles has Derrick Henry won?

So you are all for using a first round pick on a RB?

Well I'm not the simple reason is there are just too many cats who can get you 4 yards a carry, which all ya need. There are far more valuable positions a team needs to concern themselves with before a RB.

Watch what happens in the next draft, only Jeanty will go in thr first round. There is a reason for that, NFL people see it the same way I do, RB's a dime a dozen,

In the same season Josh Jacobs made the Packers relevant, Derrick Henry made Lamar look the best he's ever looked by far, Gibbs and Montomgery wrecked, Bucky Irving allowed the Buccs offense to thrive, James Cook had the Bills finally able to run out the clock (Ray Davis too), Joe Mixon picked up production the line wasnt giving Stroud in pass protection lol

Najee is going to feast behind the Chargers OL and we’re going to look back at this and appreciate RBs more. Hopefully.

The pats had some absolutely outstanding running backs during their Super Bowl runs.

Corey Dillon
Legarette Blount
James white
Kevin faulk

I mean seriously dude great dual threat RBs were a trademark of the offense.

When talking great/stud running backs you don't think of any of that gang.

Bottom line is the Pats didn't do it because of a RB.

Hell, the all time franchise rushing king...........Sam Cunningham.

Look at the success the Chiefs have had recently, who is their great/stud RB?

Anyone drafted has talent at that level, ya don't need the second coming of Jimmy Brown.

Jonathan Taylor is a great.stud RB, how have the Colts done lately?
