Dining with martians

^that's a nice looking axe. I'd be lying if I said I wasnt contemplating snagging the ESP-version at one point. However, patience struck and I opted to place an order for an Oni e-scale instead. Totally worth it. Problem is that I'm impatient, and the build has run into delays... making me oogle an Ormsby as well since my money is starting to pile up...

The Stef Carpenter sig? Yeah i've heard that about Ormsby's. Shame yours has ran into delays.

Your TDEE is just under my normal daily consumption lately, think my TDEE lately runs at close to your final amount today.

Contemplaing speculating in the russian ruble. It's at a spectacular 10-year low, with half its value lost over the last year against the dollar. Money to be made. I'm totally oblivious to the practical aspects of currency speculation though. Anyone with tips on good low-comission solutions feel free to PM.t

First of all, I would suggest reading Russia Today to understand geopolitical implications on ruble.

Contrary to extremely popular belief, we did not "stir up" anything in Ukraine, events there have more to do with exporting gas to Europe, or making EU dependent on Washington.

First, let's see of the ceasefire treaty holds up. From what I know about our american friends, bloodhsed and chaos=profit.

Even in case, of prolonged violence, there is not much doubt that Ukraine will not "win" this conflict. So are oil prices, so are the number "aces" up Russia's sleeve (army, economic importance to Europe). So bounce in Ruble is inevitable.

On the subject of investments; my flirt with the phenomenon was bright but brief. Came to an abrupt halt when I checked the taxation poiicy on the subject: any profits you make are taxed at the same rate as your salary, meaning 30%. So if I risk 20000SEK of my hard-earned cash in a moderate to high-risk fund - with the potential to lose everything - that gains 30% in value over six months, I've gotta tax 30% of my profits, leaving me with a measly ~4600SEK? I take all the risk, and the state takes almost a third of my winnings if things go my way? Get fucked.

Gonna go with a combo breaker and link this performance:

Jamiroquai back in the day was THE SHIT. Great tracks, superb energy and stage-presence, backed by a rhythm-section that was locked like bricks. Zender is fucking phenomenal on the bass, and was 19 years old at the time of the performance. Considering the lacking quality of the previous versions of their performances at Club Citta, this restoration is absolutely fantastic.
