Media Dillon Danis: “I want UFC, or I’m going to retire”

Should the UFC sign Dillon Danis?

Well, retirement it is then. I've always hated him, and I legit think he'd be the worst fighter on the roster, and I'm including the DWCS filler guys.

Plus, that Paul "boxing match" somehow ended up being worse than I thought possible, which is really saying something. Dude can go get fucked with a 2x4 wrapped in barbed wire.

Absolutely he would be, I was actually thinking who could he fight? CM Punk?

he does bring himself attention and I would love to see him get matched with someone good who absolutely mauls him but I cant see ufc signing him.

he just got outclassed by logan paul who wouldn’t even be top 200 in either mma or boxing. he’s gotten his ass kicked multiple times by random people on the street. he’s basically charlie zelenoff.
Dude that's the fight to make- Dillon D v Charlie Z: best BJJ practitioner ever against the best boxer of all time

Oh no we will miss out on this once in a lifetime pure talent if he retires. Don't do this to us Dillon.

Sign him, give him a shot against Alex Periera.

That is possibly the emptiest threat that anyone ever didn't give a shit about.

in an org that signs cm punk and promotes raul roasas jr shamelessly, i see no issue signing dillon dannis. people forget he has world class level bjj, used to be at the top of the bjj game. that is no joke. what the ufc has on their hands, is another potential ryan hall situation, with someone who has far better mic skills, charisma, and socials engagement. its a win-win for the ufc. they sign him, he either does well and captures the fans, or he gets his shit kicked in, and still brings eyes to the org. people are sleeping on his bjj game because of his shitty stand up.

Unskilled or took a dive with Paul? What's your assessment of that?

I'd watch. I don't expect success but i'm sure it'd be fun

its difficult climb when 1+ million people already paid to realise you can't fight your way out of wet paper bag

Let his cringe ass retire, won't be missed at all.

I'd have to go with unskilled I guess. It was like he didn't train a single second, and the TD and guillotine attempt were just ridiculous. I also think the fracas after the fight was just absurd and fake as all hell.

I mean, I know these weird celeb boxing matches are rarely serious competitions with guys really training and putting their all into it, but I have some serious disdain for guys like that that fool people into wasting their money on an absolute sham of a boxing match. I didn't watch every second, but from the bits I saw Danis made absolutely no attempt to compete.

Let him fight in the UFC. We'd all watch.

Make him fight Jack Paul.

That's about the only fight I could think of that would have decent odds in Danis' favor. The dude does have some legit BJJ, but he could never get it to the mat unless he was facing a CM punk type. Dude is truly an embarrassment to the sport.
