Rewatch Diego Snachez's BKFC Debut!

I don't want to embarrass myself but I don't know you or your general demeanour lol. I assume that's satire as I can't think of a thing he did amazingly in this fight

I've liked Diego through his career but getting fed up seeing him continue to push on with his career. He's either been stupid with his money or someone in his camp is letting him down by not having the "that's time Diego" chat

He did what he always did. He was never a one punch KO guy or even a striking technician, he was a close the distance brawler and thats what he did. He landed shots against a punching technician. Thats not bad at this stage in his career. n my honest opinion, he did great.

Got you, didn't want to presume. He didn't get bodied or embarrassed or anything but felt he was beaten to the punch constantly and didn't land very much and nothing of consequence. I can't see a future for him in it

All things considered, he actually didn't look bad. Sure he was pretty slow, but he moved well and other than the cut it doesn't look like he took all that much damage compared to some of his fights.

Anyone involved in permitting this to happen should be ashamed.
Including Khabib, right? Diego fought Kevin Lee in that minor league outfit before the BKFC fight.

If a guy wants to fight, and can pass the medicals. That’s about the fighter, the Dr, and the commission. The promotion is there to make money. If they truly cared about fighter health. They wouldn’t be fight promoters, alright.

And that is ALL fight promoters since boxing became a legal sanctioned sport. They are all shysters.

And the “fans” pretending to care about fighter health is hypocrisy. Because all combat sports that include striking is inherently dangerous. Yet here we are on a karate forum.

Just my opinion.

It'd safe to say that Canello took everything ge worked for away and the nightmare will pay him a visit soon

This was 1 year ago

A very solid boxing champion at 37 against a decade past his prime Diego Sanchez at 41, who at his best was a bar brawler

The doc really saved him, that cut on the head wouldn't have been a problem. Diego landed like 8 strikes to the head the whole fight and Trout barely had a scratch

If Diego isn't careful he might go from being dumber than a box of rocks to being dumbbell than a paperclip.

Diego Snachez

misspelling fighter names on purpose is over yo.

The fight was last year and I saw it last week without even knowing it happened.

I'm not as hardcore a fight fan as I was but still almost watch pretty much everything mma/boxing related and I never heard of it.

BKFC is bad at promoting

Watched it out of morbid curiosity, expecting him to be slaughtered - quick.

Diego did WAY better than expected. He hit hard, was never rocked or even wobbled, to my surprise. His MMA defense was all too evident as his fingers were extended on both hands, open to stop any takedown attempt. Unclenched fists are a major mistake in ANY boxing or BKFC endeavor.

No problem with the 4th round stoppage due to a cut, no doubt he was ready to continue. He's no Platinum, (who is ?) but he was game against a man with real credentials that everyone thought would stop him with no problem at all. He surprised the crowd, and all watching, with that performance.

For those that were unaware, or haven't seen it yet. Diego had his fight vs Austin Trout. All I can say is, somebody has to start giving a shit about his health. I don't think he does.

This is GREAT! I hope T-Ferg goes to BKFC when UFC finally dumps him.
