oh my what a shit show

I miss when ABQ had top Dawgs that would fight each other

Tapia vs Romero is the pinnacle of that mountain

this is a deep valley

Diego Sanchez did much better than expected against Kevin Lee but he shouldnt be sanctioned to fight anymore, while he isnt on a huge KO losing streak he seems to have taken way too much punches to the head over a long career.

Lobov robbed Malinaggi in that fight, he did messed him up in the last round but he should had lost that.
I do not disagree, I felt it could have gone either way. But my point is that is was surprisingly competitive, when on paper there is no way it should have been....BK is just different most pure boxers that have gone into it have had issues without the gloves on.

He beat FKL, matthews, pereiara, chiesa and gall in his last five fights.

Corrupt judges aside

Eh?

So, what you actually mean is the whole thing is a fantasy you’ve concocted in your head?

Am I right?

Oh, wait.. Yes, he did actually get a win over Michel. With a gun to my head right here, and now. I say you didn’t even see the fight, did you?

It was a DQ. Michel was pounding the piss out of Diego. And in Michel’s bloodlust l. He threw an illegal knee. So, Michel got DQ’d.

You didn’t know that, did you?

You do realize what the ONLY logical alternative for your bullshit is, right?

Rhetorical..

Stop quoting me. That will not work out well for you.

A head to knee ko winning combo is a great feat. Only select few greats like Aljo in a title fight have pulled it off before. Don’t give me that BS about he might have been losing until he won crap.

Also “stop quoting you as this isn’t working out for me?” Lol it’s working out perfectly well for me. You got troll baited into an essay long rant.

Austin Trout is not completely shot like Diego, and Diego is no GOAT like Artem, so Austin should win comfortably

On a side note, I remember watching an episode of Say Yes to the Dress with one of my ex years ago, and Austin Trout's fiancee was on that episode. She's a good looking woman, and the best part was that she wasn't greedy. At that time Austin was already the WBA light middleweight champ, so presumably he was decently well off. Her budget for the dress was only like $1000, whereas every other woman on the show is looking to get a wedding dress that's at least $10k. I thought to myself then that Austin Trout found a good woman. Sure enough they are still married with 3 kids

W for Trout. Hope he wins now based off this post alone

Man this will get ugly for Diego. He survived Fabia and Dana White allegedly loves him and feels indebted to him from TUF 1. Dana might could give him a cool position behind the scenes or with the P.I.
He should lay low now that he's away from the cult B.S. he fell for.

I know Diego is a warrior & all but he has taken damage his whole career. He is old now. The last thing he should do is get bare fisted beat on by a world champion level boxer.

that's the one.

the man made infamous due to his giraffe dance.

to be fair, I still think Trout won this fight.
Back then Trout was a boogeyman too. He was undefeated and many didn't want to face him because he would outwork you, was durable, and athletic. Not the most exciting or fundamental guy but a legit world champion & gave Canelo some problems that night. I rooted for Trout but after the knockdown I was cool with Canelo winning it. But a close fight for sure.

Fun facts about Trout:
He lost to both Charlo brothers at what many thought was the tail end of his career.

He drew with Terrell Gausha a former Olympian and perinial contender who was still relevant up until recently when he almost beat Tim Tszyu who is fighting for Jermell's titles next.

He beat a great version of Cotto

But he also has been pretty active I think and has won like 5 fights in a row. Has fought twice this year. Diego about to get slaughtered...SMH

Never thought we would see another boxer close to Paulie's level do bare knuckle stuff. However, this is interesting.

The Trout family, it even sounds wholesome

i wonder why though...does he need the money? or maybe needs to fight.

Diego or Trout?
Diego has been pretty open about a friend prior to his conman coach ripping off all his money. Also, I think he attributed losing a lot in a bad divorce too. Dana came to his rescue and gave Diego the money back. However, Sanchez got into it deep with a conman names Joshua Fabia who had Diego hook line and sinker again. No telling how much money a cult leader like Fabia conned out of a guy like Diego.

Some people are just genetically predisposed to falling for all types of guru conman , get rich quick schemes, charitable/religious scams, and or just bad buisness plans.
No matter how many times they get rescued or fail they fall for the next thing just as hard.
I guy like Diego doesn't even realize he is under the manipulation or just mimicking what a smooth talker told him. Which is why he fought like a wild dog to defend Fabia even against his friends and family. It will happen again and he will whole heartedly believe whatever major life choice he next gets into without realizing its the same cycle. People like that swear they are free thinkers and finally thinking for themselves. When in fact its the opposite, somebody new is just programming them what to say and pulling the strings.
Getting battered in the head for a living while being a blood & guts fighter certainly doesn't help the situation. Especially when speech and motor skills already seemed impaired from it.

Also, Fabia was litterally pimping out Diego on Only Fans. So that kind of screams desperate cash grab.
Diego claims he didn't know how suggestive some of the stuff was.

Then it looked like Eagle FC might have been a good option for Diego since they threw a lot of unsustainable money at fighters. However, they had no real buisness model or plan to generate revenue & I don't think Khabib has put on a show since.
