Its a fun product and I enjoy it for what it is, but I admit its sad to see Diego taking more punishment.

Brawlers that still have their chin do really well in BKFC.

Diego doesn't sadly.

Exactly he really hasn’t taken much damage. Plenty of fighters have taken far more than Diego. I think people just go by him coming off like he has CTE.

Not vs actual boxers. The Paulie fight doesn't really say much. Paulie was retired and was never a heavy hitter. His hands are made for gloves and not bare knuckle. He broke his hands right away. BKFC is not suited for fighters trying to stick and move with the jab and try to be a technical boxer for all rounds. It's more for pressure and technical brawling. 2 min rounds and smaller ring.

Using Paulie's fights as an example is like using Chuck's fight vs Tito for Goldenboy as an example. That's not the prime version and it's them fighting after being retired for a long time. Artem was still fighting actively, and even with all those variables Artem barely won.

If this fight happens it's going to be like when Mir fought Pulev. It's different when it's an actual high level boxer they are fighting. The skill gap becomes unmistakable during those fights.

BK is a much different game than boxing with gloves on, Artem fucking Lobov beat Paulie Malignaggi in BKFC a few years back. Who knows what will happen, but yeah as an MMA fan who has watched the physical and mental decline of Diego...its going to be hard for anyone to now want the corner to throw the towel in the moment he starts getting hit.

Very true Diego has always been one of my favorite fighters of all time, I got into MMA around the time the Ultimate Fighter season 1 show. Didn't watch much of that season but been a fan of him since his fight with Nick Diaz! Sad

Diego Sanchez did much better than expected against Kevin Lee but he shouldnt be sanctioned to fight anymore, while he isnt on a huge KO losing streak he seems to have taken way too much punches to the head over a long career.

Lobov robbed Malinaggi in that fight, he did messed him up in the last round but he should had lost that.
