Lopes has been great but his limitations have been revealed occasionally. Can’t say the same for Silva.

Agreed, but if Noche UFC is in Guadalajara, there’s a high chance it’s headlined by Yair vs. Lopes.

Very interesting fight but Volk might've shown way too many flaws in Lopes style. Before he seemed dangerous and not that simple, now people have a 25minute blueprint on how to make Lopes look amateur.

Problem is Lopes trains with Team Lobo (I think) and with dynamic as Silva is all you need is good movement and that team suffers. That being said, I would prefer Lopes vs. Rodriguez first. The story is already there and UFC 320 is in Mexico.

It's a great fight that I feel should happen further down the line. Here one prospect is gonna get knocked back heavily. Diego just fought for the belt and with a loss here, he gets sent down to gatekeeper status for a while. If Jean loses, another entertaining hypetrain is dead.

He was pretty high on his horse wanting a TS after his last fight and I bet he is dismissing other fighters while he can. No shame, he’s been around a while and wants another crack. Although he should realistically win one more


If Lopes agrees to this fight then that is badass and he is wiling to get some redemption and put his ranking on the line

I guess let Silva at him, he needs a real challenge. And if he passes the test, then he is ready to be a contender

I prefer fresh faces at the top vs long-reigning champs anyways. It opens up new “spider-webs” of different matchups that otherwise wouldn’t happen if one stayed champ too long
