I didn't I have the internet until I was about 20 years old and I was working installing broadband modems for the cable company. I was provided with a laptop for work and hooked up one of the modems at home. I had used computers at school before, but never had one at home growing up.

It's kind of funny to think that I'm probably part of the last generation to jerk off to the bra and panty section of a sears catalog.:D

We got internet when I was about 11, but that was dial up. We probably got broadband when I was 15.

Then I got to uni in 2005 and it was back to dial up! Those halls of residence were demolished the following year.

Not until 2001 or so. Might have been a little later.

Define "growing up"... we had dialup around the time I was in high school (late 90's), but the internet didnt really exist to any extent when I was growing up.

I was in my 20s when I first used the internet. This was in 1995.

When I was about 13, I had a phone cord that I would attach to the house phone jack and then the modem. If I heard my dad at the back door of our house I would run and disconnect it. That lasted a month, then the phone bill came. Not to mention that by me being on the interweb, it jammed the phone line so my dad's answering machine did not get any of his business calls.

I caught a viscous beating for that. Then about a year later, we were able to use AOL from 9PM to 9:30PM at night.

I think we got our first computer when I was 19 in like 2001 and I used that bitch to play some mad everquest and hated when you would go linkdead and come back dead who knows where.

It did not exist when I was growing up.

Yes I was able to cyber with some people from Yahoo pool....looking back was probably a dude ughjh

I got my first computer when I was 35.

um, i dont think we got it until i was 13?
but my aunt had it . . . um well idk i just remember her always having it when i was a kid, and i stayed with her mostly so.
me n my cousin used the internets to print off coloring pages then get yelled at for wasting ink bc we'd print off like 20 pictures at a time lmao

If you count dial-up bulletin boards as "the internet", then sure.

I bought my first computer when I was about 30 years old

I think I was 13 when we first got internet (28.8kb dial up). I was 15 when cable internet came to our area, and I was blown away by the difference.

My first experience with the internet was back in 96 - our school had one computer that was internet capable, and I remember going to download.com to download free shareware to put on a floppy disk to take home..... my how times have changed.

Not until my late teens. A couple of years after the school and the odd friend got it.
